Finished this game last night and ill have to say it was disappointing. It's my least favorite Assassins Creed besides the first one. This game should have been great with it during the American Revolution but it failed in many aspects.

Re: Assassin's Creed III
I picked this game up about 2 weeks ago and did not know how I would like it based of things I read in this thread. This was my first Assassin's Creed game, but I was interested because I love history and love the setting that it takes place in. I am really enjoying the game. It started of slow, but from sequence 6 til where I am now I am having so much fun with the game. Maybe since I started playing after the patch, that made a difference since I did not experience too many glitches. I have not tried the multiplayer yet, but I really am enjoying the game to this point.Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed III
My goodness.. I've played all of the Assassin's Creed games and this game just pulled it all together so beautifully. It's sad to see the story come to a close but man was it a rollercoaster. The ending is just mind-blowing. I found it interesting that there's some dialogue you can go through with Shaun where he talks about taking the Animus back to the first civilization once all of it was said and done. Potential foreshadow for the future of the series? Ubisoft has already said that Assassin's Creed is not done yet so I'm REALLY interested in seeing where things go.Chicago Bulls | Chicago Bears | Chicago White Sox | Chicago BlackhawksComment

Re: Assassin's Creed III
I just beat the game and I must say that the ending was a let down.
SpoilerI hate the way they handle the end of Haythem and Charles Lee. It was so anti-climactic. Like you have this amazing build up and then the game does not deliver in the end. I mean you instantly just kill Haythem out of no where and then that horrible little chase scene with Charles Lee and then killing him at that table, terrible. Also I could not get into the whole apples of eden destruction of the world stuff either. Did not really care for Desmond's parts of the game nor did his death have any impact on me because that whole story is just kind of meh to me.
I still enjoyed the overall game though.Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed III
Just finished the game and I have this to say...
SpoilerAchillees Davenport might be one of my favorite gaming characters of all time. Right up there with Jayden from Heavy Rain. The end scene where Conner buries the key in Conner Davenport's grave leads me to believe this. Achilles saw Conner as the son that never made it to adulthood. That's why he renamed him Conner. He truly loved him like he was his own.Comment

New Assassin's Creed coming during next fiscal year, features new hero in a new time period
The next installment in the Assassin's Creed series will be coming in Ubisoft's 2014 fiscal year, and will feature a new hero in a new time period, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot announced today during the company's third-quarter earnings call.
"We are delighted and proud to announce today that in financial year '14, we will introduce an all-new Assassin's Creed hero, within an all new team and time period, and we expect it to be another major leap forward for the franchise," said Guillemot. "It is the benefit of multiple teams working on multiple chapters of the product, each getting several years to make their versions of an Assassin's Creed game."
Guillemot added Ubisoft will share more details on the next Assassin's Creed title "very soon."
Ubisoft's next fiscal year will run from April 1, 2013, through March 31, 2014.
Released last fall, Assassin's Creed 3 introduced the series' newest hero, Connor (Native American name Ratonhnhaké:ton), and was the first title to bring the franchise's storyline to North America. It took place in colonial America during the late 18th century, around the American Revolution.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment
