My only complaint with the game is I wish vehicles had the option to have a much lower damage threshold. I would really like to be able to ramp the difficulty up even more and this would be a good way to do it in my opinion. Really hoping the PC modding community can crack this one open because with mods this game would be incredible and may force me into picking up a second copy.

Re: Watch Dogs
Last night I had a side mission. I followed a car downloaded to 100 percent whatever I was stealing. Then I was told to take him out, there were three other cars on his side trying to take me out. I tried this three times. How exactly are you to take this guy out?? Lmao I was being shot at etc. Stuff like that makes me irrate. Feels like such a waste of time. Is there something I'm missing?Comment

Re: Watch Dogs
Do it.....I bought the PS4 from a grocery store of all places because I had reward points built up. I bought it for the Show, but they never got it in. So when I bought the PS4, I got a game with it and picked up NBA 2K, but I never opened it. They still didn't have the Show this week so I traded for Watchdogs instead. No regrets. So I ended up getting the PS4 + Watchdogs for $361, I'm going to get the Show new off of ebay for $48.99 + free shipping. So considering you are getting 2 controllers, you are getting a really good deal. Too bad you didn't pull the trigger last week, you could have got triple trade in value from Target and sold those games back for over $100.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment

If you don't have access to all those things, advance a little in the story and pour your points into the hacking tree.Comment

Re: Watch Dogs
This. Hacking tree is godlike in this game because of the limited ways to evade pursuits (it's extremely difficult to just outrun them).Comment

I just did this one today. Took the car out and he ended up running on foot. I ran him over at that point then took care of his buddies

Re: Watch Dogs
I feel like there are a lot of little shortcuts and back ways that you can use to outrun them effectively. I just haven't learned most of them yet. I feel like the speed run fixer contracts are designed to teach you some of them. But you're right, you can forget about simply outrunning them on the main roads.Comment

Re: Watch Dogs
BTW, I beat the storyline last night.
ENDGAME SPOILERS:
Spoiler
I only had a really tough time with two missions in the game on Realistic difficulty. The showdown with Iraq on top of Rossi-Fremont was a pain because I had to sit through his speeches every single time I died to one of the two parts of that fight. The Armored guy that appears just before Iraq probably killed me all but two of those times (Iraq got me twice while I was too focused on the heavy guy). The other was the final mission - specifically, the insane chase through the city when Damien gets full control of ctOS. Jam Comms was my only weapon here, and it was still all I could do to make it to one of the three hack points and activate it before dying, just so I could checkpoint and move on to the next box. That was just poor design IMO, that kind of event just doesn't work on the hardest difficulty and I don't know how anyone could do it without dying at least once.
I'm not sure what to think about the story...it kind of felt like an origin story by the end, something that Ubi really wants to continue. I just got kind of a Batman vibe throughout the game, only he's not Batman because he murders people. There are parts of the game where killing seems like its 100% unavoidable, regardless of the number of stealth options you have. I'm just getting mixed signals from the kind of protagonist Ubi wants Aiden to be.
Although in the one choice that you are given, I didn't kill Maurice at the end. As the ensuing dialog said at the end, he was living in his own hell from knowing he killed a little girl.
I feel like I missed something regarding Defalt. I had the chance to take him down during a chase and I failed at it. Maybe something different would have happened if I caught him? That, Lucky Quinn, and Maurice are the only times in the game where I felt I might have been able to do something differently and gotten a different outcome (although Quinn was a piece of **** IMO and was probably going to die anyway)
Good storyline on the whole, definitely kept me interested. I just don't know what direction Ubi wanted to take Aiden's character in, that's all.

DAMN! already?....lmao I'm still not out of act 1 yet....so much stuff to get distracted by...lolPeople are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.“I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest – If you can’t take it, you shouldn’t play!” Jack Lambert“Quarterbacks should wear dresses.” Jack LambertComment
