People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.“I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest – If you can’t take it, you shouldn’t play!” Jack Lambert“Quarterbacks should wear dresses.” Jack Lambert -
Re: Watch Dogs
If you are talking about the side missions, they need to be officially started first.
Otherwise, just ignore the hacker and keep playing, when it is finished, the side mission will pop back up.Comment

Re: Watch Dogs
Judging from this thread, looks like I'm not the only one to be having a lot of fun with the online hacking portion of the game.

And watching the cops chase them on the mini map makes it infinitely easier to know where they are and when to get when to get the hell out of dodge.

Re: Watch Dogs
So after 60+ hours of game play and completing nearly every side quest, I've finished the main story as well. What an amazing experience! I'd still like to finish up fixer missions and the online hacking achievements as well, but I thoroughly have really enjoyed every moment of playing WD. I hope Ubisoft plans a sequel.
As someone who jumped on the season pass, does anyone know if there's an ETA for the T-Bone campaign yet?Comment

Re: Watch Dogs
This game is pretty ****ing awesome. To be honest, I'm surprised they ended up putting out a game as solid as this is with all of the delays and what looked to be a dip in the graphics from E3.
It really is impressive how addicting all of the side missions and just general exploring of the city is. I can easily see myself finishing all of that before I come close to finishing the story, which I can't say I've ever done before with an open-world game.
It's also really cool how you can take such different approaches to missions. Last night I was doing one of those gang hideout missions that was set in a parking garage. I failed a good 10 times or more but almost every time there was something new happening that kept it fresh, so all that constant failure wasn't even that annoying to me.
So far my biggest complaint is the driving. I don't really care for it too much and definitely prefer GTA V's driving. I think I'm slowly getting used to it though, and that tip about lowering the sensitivity might help.
Also, I really don't see what the big problem is with the soundtrack. It's not exactly a masterpiece but it's not that bad either. I actually kind of enjoy it so far.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Re: Watch Dogs
My only complaint is the AI. They are horrid at times. Like they all run off the same intelligence. They group together and don't make much sense. Had 2-3 guys trying to go through a doorway the other day at the same time when they were in the "cautious alert" phase thing.
If you go head on, the AI isn't bad, but it seems to get glitchy IMO when they spot a dead body or get sketched from a machine operating.5Comment

Re: Watch Dogs
When you're infiltrating an area that is designed for you to be able to infiltrate to...AI is pretty solid. But sometimes, yeah, you can get the AI to break.
I even had a mission turn out way easier because I defied what the game wanted me to do. It's in Act III:
SpoilerIt's for when you meet T-Bone and need to steal his van back (which they kept calling a truck for some reason). I stealth'd through and took out everyone. But they send guys anyway. I can do chase sequences in the city. Lots of intercetions and alleys with blockers I can trigger. But out in Pawnee you're screwed. So I figured I may as well try to pick off the numbers a little. So I immediately got out hte van ahd hid a few feet away behind a fence. They can am I tried to blow them up with an IED but it failed. A guy started flanking me so I gunned him down and everyone started to converge. But the junkyard you fight in has so many ways to break LOS so I retreated and hid. They never tried to hunt me down. They just kinda walked back and forth over the last area they saw me in one big cluster.
If I had components for an IED or grenade I would've tried to take 'em all out at once. They eventually just gave up and left.
There were at least 11 of them too. I felt so slick.
Still didn't really matter in the end. I got into another chase because the stupid Fixers set up roadblocks and I blundered right into one.
And my bad about the side mission "spoiler" I didn't think it really was a spoiler. I mean the entire premise of the side mission hinges on Pearce knowing what the killer did before you even start hunting him. It's not like that part was a secret. But I'll use discretion.Comment
