I agree. Clunky and delayed. You get used to it though. I do like how different cars have different weights and feels.

Everything feels clunky and there seems to be a delay from what I'm pressing to what is happening. Could be me, but as of right now I really don't like the driving in this game.

The major thing I've come to realize about the driving is that it isn't like GTA where you can go full throttle and stick to the road as you go around a 45 degree turn.

Is it best to hold off on the Fixer Contracts until you unlock more gadgets?

I was clearing the map of investigations/crates last night. I feel like the game paces better and the world feels more grounded when you're on foot. I'm starting to get the hang of the cover/trailing controls and its starting to feel awesome.

Thanks, but I have beaten the game and actually have all 23 songs. The achievement itself says 100% it just shows as locked still.

It was a hilarious moment. I have to explain it so you guys get the full context. I was being chased by the cops at like a 3 level. Somehow, I get myself swimming under a bridge and the cops were all "WHERE DID HE GO?!" They couldn't find me but I wasn't losing them either. I even went to get something to eat and left my PS4 for like 10 mins.

When I came back, Pito was like "Jon....JON....you need to see this. Oh my god. I found all the cop cars." So I swam away out of the police zone to get rid of them and on my way to him, he goes "WHAT?! JON! MY CHARACTER IS HAVING A SEIZURE. NO. A HEART ATTACK. MY GUY COLLAPSED AND IS HAVING A SEIZURE ON THE GROUND"

When I finally get there, his character was all glitched up laying on the ground (you can kinda see it in that picture). We were laughing for a good 5 full minutes

Yeah I think the driving is fine, but there really isn't a since of speed. So when you need to turn, it is very hard to judge if you can make the turn or not. I usually end up almost stopping to make sure I can make a turn. They really need to put the speed on the screen to help you judge if you can make a turn or not. Different cars have different brakes, so that is a plus, but you need to see the speed.

Also you can use focus while driving to slow things down and make turns at high speed. But beware. . When you unclick focus or run out you're thrust back into real time.

Turning is fine for me. Try to not even use brakes. Just let the gas go, start at a turn radius you think will hit the corner, and then adjust with gas and rarely with a brake tap

                      Re: Watch Dogs

PS4 guys be careful. Incurred a game breaking bug last night after playing Online Tailing.

I accepted an Online Tailing contract last night. In the midst of the mission, the player I was tailing killed me. After I died, it kicked me back to free roam, where I went to start another Online Hacking mission. However I was unable to. I then noticed what the menu read when selecting which sort of Online Mission you wanted to play. It told me I needed to complete the Online Hacking introduction mission to gain access. At first I thought it was just a load error, so I restarted. But to no avail. I then noticed other issues. I lost my weapons and my skills. They were still visible as unlocked on the tree, but I couldn't use any of them. I.E had the door unlock skill, but Aiden would still break the window to get into the car.

After some diligent internet searching, and failed backup attempts, if I want to do these things, I'm going to have to play the game again, which I have no desire to do. Ubisoft says they are aware of the issue, but of course have no idea how to fix it on the back end.

Pretty disappointing. Probably going to just trade it in tonight for Wolfenstein.

The only thing I dislike about this game so far is the Fixer Mission type that requires stealing the hot car and escaping the cops. The "Search" portion with the yellow radar circles is straight cheese. I feel like a schmuck burning all my tech to temporarily disable the circles because they keep spawning directly on my position (even at 0%!). It's infuriating.

That's the one I did first. I didn't have any jam-com devices either. Took me about 3 or 4 tries.

that was the first side mission I did, so that could be why I hate the driving. I'm gonna have to not do those right away haha

I find if you put way points out there while driving its easier to focus on the driving, granted a lot of times you have to deviate from that, but I find that knowing where I have to turn and being ready for it, is much easier with the waypoint on.

I haven't checked this thread in awhile.

Are people still playing in realistic or has it been found out that hard or normal is better off?

Thanks for any input. I have been playing a lot of Wildstar and plan on getting back into WD tonight
