I was able to snag a beta key for the PC version. So far it's basically just the same game as CS Source only with a few new weapons and some tacked-on modes that no one will probably play.

Completely disagree. The game is nothing like CS: Source. The firing closely resembles 1.6 however the physics are obviously much more similar to Source.

The game is a blend of the two but an entirely new animal in and of itself.

And many people will play...many, many people.

Nope, hostages are still in a couple of levels. Italy, Office, and a few others.

Different mode from hostage rescue. The VIP mode is where the whole team has to protect and escort one player who has nothing but a pistol and body armor. The terrorists victory condition is killing him.

Ah, I probably called it by the wrong name. I'm thinking of the mode where there are three AI hostages that have to be escorted to the extraction point. VIP mode sounds really cool too though.

Ah, well, VIP mode isn't in the game by default, but I'm sure it will be a mod on PC servers eventually.

Been playing the beta this week and sticking with Dust and Office. What is the full release including? That old CS feeling is coming back to the point where I actually forgot Guild Wars 2 was coming out next week.
