Drops like this would be wonderful.

Re: Destiny
The problem is if we all got all the weapons and armor we wanted and maxed them out too quickly there wouldn't be any more reason to really play. In the end this game is just about the grind.
It's like Seinfeld (for those that watched.) Seinfeld boasted that it was a show about nothing. Destiny really is a game about nothing. But we play to grind!PSN: JISTIC_OS

Re: Destiny
Hahaha, this is exactly what I was thinking. If we had weapons and armor showered upon us, then I can see people saying things like.... "I want to work harder for what I get, this game gives out drops too quickly." lolThe problem is if we all got all the weapons and armor we wanted and maxed them out too quickly there wouldn't be any more reason to really play. In the end this game is just about the grind.

Re: Destiny
That and it just becomes hard to find a point to play. If everyone got everything, and could max weapons/armor asap, what's the point? There wouldn't be one, we'd all be running around with the same/greatest stuff with no real "need" to grind for marks, rep or mats. Jistic pretty much nailed it. Both that this game is about the grind and is exactly like Seinfeld, lol.Comment

Re: Destiny
The game actually has a decent story, it's just that the delivery of it is terrible and the total lack of content make it about the grind.
The game, as fun as it can be, almost feels like a super glorified shareware demo at times.
I'll be hyped when Destiny 2 news hits though, as long as they put the lessons they learned to good use.Last edited by ubernoob; 11-11-2014, 04:36 PM.badComment

Re: Destiny
I actually think there is still a lot of life left in Destiny, with all of the DLC and updates from Bungie this game could have a very solid following for quite a while.
I really think that Destiny 2 needs to take a page from Borderlands and have a huge variety of guns, that's what made that game so addicting. The randomness of finding that next great gun, even if it was lying in a pile of vomit so addicting.

Re: Destiny
Yeah, I love my hand cannons. First legendary hand cannon was the Red Hand IX and I maxed that as soon as I could. Ran with that primarily until I got the Vision of Confluence. My secondary character (Titan) has the Devil You Know, and with 12 rounds, I can wipe a room of enemies in one magazine most of the time.
Here's to hoping the Last Word lives up to the hype. I'm excited to level it up.Comment
