I finished that part of the Thorn bounty last night. It has taken me about a week to do it because the only void gun I have is a fusion rifle. I'm not that good of a Crucible guy, though I will sometimes have matches where I feel like no one can touch me. My recommendation is to play rumble. While you only have 5 other people instead of 11, the games are much quicker. I was able to go from about 223 to 500 last night in a handful of games.

If you have a fusion rifle, keep feathering the fire button to keep the charge going then aim at the feet. The recoil will usually unleash the fusion pellets or bullets or whatever is a stream and it's a one shot kill. It can be done, it is just hard. Thorn and Bad Juju are getting buffs apparently so I wouldn't abandon it. Just keep trying.

I'm going to try and solo the last part of Thorn today where I have to defeat the level 26 wizard in the Summoning Pits strike. Not sure how I'm ever going to get past the 3 waves while Dinklebot tries to unlock the door. If anyone is around and wants to help, they're more than welcome to.

Last night I hit New Monarchy 3. Got my 3 legendary things in the mail: 1 ascendant energy, 1 ascendant shard and a void damage fusion rifle - which is nice because the fusion I had was rare. My secondaries are now a fully leveled Chosen (legendary sniper, arc damage), Invective (exotic shotty, solar damage) and Purifier VII (legendary fusion, void damage). Unfortunately, I don't really play Crucible so I am level 3 in New Monarchy but only have 44 marks. I need a legendary primary in the worst way. I have 200 vanguard marks but am barely a level 1.

I should finish my Bad Juju bounty today and I am going to try like hell to finish the Thorn one.

Good thing my wife is taking the kids to her in-laws ha.

Darn... I chose to skip grabbing the ice breaker because I am not much of a sniping guy. I am starting to second guess that...

Call me crazy but I think Xur will have a great selection considering borderlands 2 comes out this week. If I was Bungie I would save the best stuff for the weeks that AAA games are coming out. Just extra incentive to keep playing

Over the weekend I got my Warlock to 28, got Vanguard rank 3 so I snagged Shadow Price and they gave me a legendary scout rifle!!! I still don't have an exotic yet but that will happen shortly!

I will be on this evening to complete the heroic, weekly and nightfall strike if possible. The raid later this week as well. I will need 5 guardians.

Look me up if u are on. Thanks to Gaming Jones, Burns, Kaiser and Cubfan. U all have helped tremendously! Sorry if I missed someone.

Not to rub it in or anything but yeah you are missing out. Ice Breaker is a beast in strikes and against the hard as nails bosses. They are by no means a push over, still a battle but you will go through them quicker with consistent head shots.

I am kicking myself now sadly. People are soloing the weekly strikes with the thing. I heard that u can possibly get it through the raid. I'm hoping I can get it that way.

I've actually been debating on getting rid of this bounty.I would rather pull all my teeth without novocain than finish the PvP part for this weapon...that's how bad I hate the PvP in this game....plus I believe it's a pulse rifle?

I don't really care for those anyway....so no big loss. Still deciding though.

I'm right there with you, but then they are supposed to buff it so I guess I should wait and see. The only PVP I actually even slightly enjoy is control, but you don't get credit towards the stupid bounty by doing the objective. But I'd need to play like 17 matches, blech. That's it, I've decided, bounty getting abandoned. I'd rather carry Gjallahorn or Icebreaker anyway.

I am thinking about dumping my exotic bounty too. My first bounty was for pocket infinity. I am on the last part of the bounty where u need 500 points using Void damage and deaths reset it by 1. I have been dreading this. I jumped in to Clash, and Skirmish and was painfully reminded why I don't play crucible. It was frustrating! One match of skirmish my 2 teammates left me with 6 minutes left in the match.

I almost broke my tv. I wanted to see if I will receive something cool at the end of the match if I stuck it out. I got torched and I received nothing. :-(

On a lighter note, I stepped away and played some clash later in the day. My last match I got a relentless medal! I think I can get somewhat decent if I play more.

We've talked about it briefly when we were raiding. Keep it, I finished the pvp portion of the Juju bounty in about 7 matches or so.

It isn't that difficult, you just need points/exp not necessarily kills. Play control or something where you can get points other ways and not just kills.

If you need, I'd be glad to help you out. I obviously can't get you the points but I'm really good at pvp so us winning may get you more points as well.

Plus the coming buff and the Juju just looks awesome too. It friggin glows man!
