Once you get used to that stuff, its easy to see coming and compensate for. Those guys suck anyways.

Add to that the terrible loot drops that come from doing 35. You do a hard mode raid you get elemental burn primary weapons that's the way its been in this game. Now they have it so you beat the 35 PoE you may or may not get an elemental burn primary to drop if you get one at all. Add to that the fact that all these HoW weapons are some of the worst "raid" weapons to come out.....VoG has Fatebringer, a gun so awesome people still run VoG just for it. CE has Black Hammer for PvE elements its one of the best snipers in the game, and to a lesser extent Hunger of Crota a nice tracking RL for those w/o a Ghorn. None of the stuff in this expansion from a PvE standpoint comes close.

Lots of good weapons in ToO, especially if you are good/fortunate/lucky enough to go 9-0. Seems like House of Wolves was a PvP expansion. Not to mention that for three weeks all Variks has had to redeem your armor cores for is all strenght armor.

And I feel like all those extra treasure keys everyone will have now are so pointless because the queens weapons are garbage, I think I've dismantled them all.

Yes this is true, the sniper and the rocket launcher I think are the only items worth owning IMO.

I agree, I dont think I like any of the new guns to come out with HoW. Hell the only ones that get any love are burn primaries you get by chance in ToO (which are overrated imo). I feared that them letting us ascend all old guns (specifically Fatebringer and lesser Black Hammer) would ruin any chance of the new guns mattering in PVE. Additionally, all the new gun perks are lame as hell. There isnt that one "woah" gun in the new pack, which may be by design considering how broken FB BH and GH made PVE lol.

Perhaps they are saving it all for the big DLC this fall, which is beginning to rub me the wrong way.

I agree with some of what you said, but definitely not that the ToO primary elemental damage guns are overrated. I have the Scout and the Pulse rifle and they absolutely wreck everything.

Yeah but they have alternates from the non-lighthouse pool of guns that wreck just as hard, I mean anything can own when that burn is active really. There really is no gun that we need to bend over backwards to pursue in HoW for the PVE realm.

If they wreck in PVP then more power to yall. Ive accepted that Im poop at PVP. Played Iron Banner last night with 4 friends, we went 5-0 but I was literally a handicap to them. Had like a .35 K/D lol. Really is all about Thorn in there.

Yeah, any void primary would be better than the Epilogue. Really need to run Crota Hard now that it will be far easier to get the WoC.

Nope not at all. None of the weapons are all that spectacular. Having a nice void primary would be sweet, but I got the scholar in arc and in the NF it did about 3500 less damage than Fatebringer. I would've love to have gotten that in Void. I armor aside a nice void primary that hits harder than Word of Crota is my only goal for ToO. Sucks you have to go 9-0 and hope RNG hits in your favor. Now that I have announced what I need/want from ToO I will never get it.

As usual with the absolutely horrible IB matchmaking, I now have 5 medallions. My team is usually on the receiving end of a 10000 plus point spread slaughtering against full fireteams.

I'm always on the worst teams too. When I reach 5 coins I just quit if my team gets down by a lot.

Same here. So frustrating.

It's absolutely laughable how TERRIBLE the lag is in IB. Once I get to rank 3 I'm out. Probably the least amount of fun to be had in Destiny. I'd love it if the connections were anywhere near consistent.

The 34 PoE is pretty damn easy this week. You really don't need max gally (not that it hurts). We all had it, but on the first try, I forgot to get synth out of the vault, so I only put 4 Rockets into him and he still went down quick. The second time, one of us was on a 33, and one of the 34s didn't have synth so only put 4 Rockets into him, and we still killed him before the vip cane out. A hunger, truth, or probably even black hammer, would still down him pretty quick. Got the Queen's Cipher and a Her Benevolence, which I reforged into a void and ascended, so I have a sniper for Skolas. Gotta get one more etheric to ascend my void machine gun and I'll be ready to tackle Skolas.
