played a lot today, got in a few terrible groups that just couldn't do anything. I was a 33 in the 34 PoE, and I was basically carrying them.
finally found a group that were good and we blew through the 34 PoE, which allowed be to get to 34 on my Warlock. found 2 guys that was at Skolas, and we knocked that out with only a single wipe.

so I was able to complete the moments of triumph.
got a crappy rocket launcher from it, but also got the elder cipher.

now to try and get my others characters to 34.

From Variks or the chest? The one from the chest is pretty good with a reroll.

Is it true that Trials is being shut down with Taken King? Seems very suspect of Bungie to do such a thing.

Not permanently. It'll return "later this year", whenever that means.

If you log in before the patch you can do a nightfall and weekly heroic (or three). Nightfall is easy (solar and void phogoth)

Finally after like 6-8 weeks of no new exotic, I get a Gjallarhorn, just a few hours before the patch. Then I het a Monte Carlo from a legendary engram.

Still find it funny that they said there was not going to be any Nightfall or Heroics this week.

There won't be after the patch, but with everything on automatic they couldn't stop the reset and nightfall before the patch.

Lucky you. I spent 7 hours yesterday trying to do PoE 35...still didn't beat it.

I've been trying to grind Crucible for my Warlock. I believe I'm sitting at 125 marks in both Crucible and Vanguard. My warlock also has 8 5000k bounties, one cryptarch package and 5 public event packages stored. My hunter, who I main, I didn't do anything for, but I have all my marks maxed out.

Oversoul Edict and Word of Crota dropped in Crota Hard
Vision of Confluence, VOG on Hard yesterday.

But now most of them don't matter

Yep. I was shocked. Guys I played with were pissed lol. Beat SKolas this past week too - CRAZY!! Got all kind of exotic bounties in the last two weeks.

Mytho is a monster when you need the "kill 15 guardians with a fusion rifle" bounty in crucible.

It's also good for kill 2 enemies with fusion rifle bounty, dark below, one trigger pull (2 if unlucky), done.
