The Last Word. Hip Fire, while backing up. You can 3 or 4 shot most of them. Just keep your distance.

Speaking if the Last Word, it took me until last week to realize it is full auto. I dont use hand cannons much

You're more accurate (and faster) with single trigger pulls FWIW.

There has to be more answers than this. This is why that meta is so stagnant. Cant wait to see the nerf on shotguns. I can only hope Bungie didnt hype it up and still have sprint around the map shotgunning everything strats running things.

Auto rifles getting a boost should help too, assuming they are buffed to the right level.

Snipe from distance. I've found that with shotgunners they are trying to get as close as their range allows for that weapon to work. I have the most success keeping them at a distance for me as I run TLW and a Sniper, is to hip fire TLW (for the bonus damage/accuracy) and blink jump backwards while shooting. They pretty much run in a straight line right at you.....

I don't know how the changes to hand cannons will change that, and next tuesday will be a new world where you can run any combo you want and depending on the scenario and map. Some maps I know running a sniper puts me at a disadvantage vs shotgun, but its all practice for Trials and that is where Snipes are valuable.

Leaning heavy on the crucible modes I guess, not going to be much else to do. Guess I'll be grinding that gunsmith rep.

I'm actually kinda pissed at them. Really divisive in my mind to leave something that big out of the weekly update and leave it in a forum post on your own garbage forums. If not for Reddit I would be none the wiser.

Sigh. I hope these crucible modes are fun. Glad I don't have anything I want besides No Land Beyond and Necro. But damn put it in the update

Playing this game for the first time via Xbox Live demo and to my surprise I really like it. I liked the pace of it, kind of slow, kinda like an action/adventure, exploration rpg, and very challenging which can be frustrating at times but still fun.
I don't get all the hate for this game? I like it way better than Black Ops 3, in which I uninstalled the beta after only a few rounds.
I will probably cop this game once the price drops to around $30-$40.

I'm just going to wait for the Taken King and get the Legendary addition. This game is awesome!!

So I found a group on the Bungie forums to do the Vault of Glass in hard with. Beat atheon on our fourth battle attempt. I really enjoyed that raid.

I went back onto the forums and found a group for the Crota's End raid on hard. Got to the end but couldn't beat Crota with the group I was with. Out swordbearer sucked and the Crota Over soul attack kept screwing us over.

Get that group together again (or any group) and I can run sword. Usually takes me about 2-3 attempts to warm up.

Haven't wanted to play this game in 1 month. Hopefully TTK changes that
