You're in for a treat. It's the most satisfying feeling in video games, I think. When I beat the boss I was having trouble with last night, it felt like something really good had just happened in my life haha.

Same. There is a really easy way to take him down, if you want.

One thing to keep in mind: almost every boss has a weakness. It's always so subtle that it can take forever to figure out, but once you do, it has you wondering why it took you so long to figure out in the first place.

I'd agree. Souls has a fantastic community that's been behind it since Demon's Souls. I personally watch Marcus, (EpicNameBro), Franz, (AGermanSpy), and I've started watching VaatiVidya as well.

ENB is probably the "face" of the Souls community as a whole, his videos are basically great for going into in-depth detail on gameplay mechanics on a frame-by-frame basis. Not to mention him and the others really go into the lore and backstory behind this game on an intricate basis.

Cant say its true for this game but magic has typically been the easiest build to start with in souls games.

For evasion, it has to be under 25% encumbrance for a fast roll, 50% for an average speed and anything over 50 gives the slow roll.

Estus shards increase quantity of estus flasks while bone dust increases healing strength, you have to burn bone dust in the bonfire in manjula.

Magic is easier, but not nearly as easy was it was in Demon's Souls.

Getting to the Undead Purgatory is unnecessarily hard. You have to go through seven advanced enemies, including an invader, just to get there. It's dumb. I get one boss fight about every half hour.

When those guys start up their swing. Roll towards them, on their weapon arm. You'll get an easy backstab to start off each guy. If your weapon is strong enough, you can kill them before they get up from the backstab.

Yeah, they're really easy to backstab. Problem is, they all five attack at once. So when I do get a backstab, one of them is hitting me while I'm doing it.

Lure them out one at a time. It's tough fighting in bunches, even if they were just a bunch of hollow soldiers.

                        I feel like I get stuck with teammates who's Down's has Down's.

At the Last Bastille tri-boss, I can use my shield and take no damage from any hits. I can tank the first one while they kill it. I can stay up top (or on bottom) and split the next two and tank one solo while they kill the next one, and then we can all take down the third. That shouldn't be hard to understand when they see how the first fight works.

They always die. It's so infuriating.

I eventually figured it out. I learned them about ten feet back towards a cliff that made it so they couldn't track me haha. The boss fight was awesome. Probably my favorite thus far.

I find it difficult to sit through ENB's videos, to me he rambles and could make more concise videos. Then again, I started out watching VV, so I was spoiled. I've never heard of AGermanSpy. You ever watch SunlightBlade or Oroboro & Peeve's co-op playthrough?

Even the Phantom you can summon can take out the Sentinels if you agro them for her. The closest I got yesterday was one left with maybe three hits of health, then I get hit with a sweeping attack

Yeah, bad teammates suck. I laid down a soapstone and helped take them out a few times to get a rhythm and then took them on with 2 guys. The main thing is to keep that first guy up top and then focus on the 2 others. Evading their attacks is pretty easy when you do it like that.

The level after that is a beaaaast. I may not be ready yet for that one, as the boss hit me once and i was toasted. May try the Cope and see how hard that is.
