Ok so the complete edition count as a separate game from the original? I ask because I still have the original game but I decided I would sell it and buy the complete edition since I yet to buy the DLC

Anyway it had to download even though I already had the original installed. After it was done I started and all my saves were gone. I never deleted anything from the previous game

I do remember reading save games from the original aren't compatible with the CE. The system does count them as separate games.

I guys I have a question about something I'm stuck on. hope you guys can help

I'm stuck at the part where the baron wants you to find his wife and daughter. On the way out of his castle I talked to a blacksmith and he wants me to go to undvik to find a forge? I tried pressing r3 to get back to the barons quest but it won't allow me. Also I don't see undvik on the map on the fast travel board. Do I just do some other quests or can I get back to the baron one

I hope this helps.. not always great with remembering things I played so long ago.

You should be able to go back to the menu screen and nd highlight the Baron's quest again under the main story quests tab if I remember correctly. It's a lengthy quest line and part of it just happens to follow along with some other things and your search for Ciri in Velen.

Also.. Undvik is an island area located in Skellige. You'll have to travel there first and it's something you'll probably do later down the road after Novigrad.

I want to brew up potions but can't get to the screen where the potion manuscripts are? I have seen videos on YouTube but can't find them in the menu for the life of me. I'm on PS4

Look for the alchemy tab on the pause menu.

Just had a look and don't see any potion manuscripts under the alcahemy tab. I see all my ingredients but that's about it

You don't actually read the manuscripts to make potions. Just go to your Alchemy tab. Scroll down to the potion you would like to brew. To the right will be a list of ingredients. If you have all of the ingredients then you can go on and brew the potion.

Wait a sec. Are you just in your inventory looking at Alchemy Ingredients? If so you need to L1/R1 over to the actual Alchemy section to brew potions.

I see the potions that can be brewed and it says if you have them or not, I thought that you actually viewed the recipe too, didn't know if I was missing something.

Just watching the YouTube videos. Did they change the alchaemy layout from initial launch?

They did. One of the patches included an overhaul to the menu UI.
