Re: The Witcher 3
Which is why I'm holding out on my second playthrough for now till I get a better PC. Only had slowdown sometimes on the PS4, but later game navigating the laggy menus was a pain.Comment

Re: The Witcher 3
I don't have a super good PC. I only have an i-5 and 1070ti and even with my setup the change is drastic. I get good quality graphics at 60FPS and 1440.Comment

Re: The Witcher 3
I'm not saying don't wait for a PC, but I have no problem going back and forth from the Switch version to the PC (especially with GOG letting you transfer cloud saves between both).
I agree with Chase 100% when it comes to seeing this game on PC and the brolic FPS..... It's just such a damn good game that you can't lose regardless of what you decide to play it on.

Re: The Witcher 3
I just upgraded my entire PC and the game looks absolutely amazing on a 4k gaming monitor. The entire Witcher 3 world is beautiful in 4k especially in Skellige. If youre looking to buy a 4k monitor, you should visit this website.Last edited by nstout83; 06-10-2020, 10:01 AM.Comment

Re: The Witcher 3
I've been playing on my Switch Lite of late and have made it farther than I ever have when I attempted on PS4 and XBO. I'm doing the quests for the Baron's family which I know is still really early.
Am I missing anything if I opt to play the game on Story and Sword as opposed to Blood and Broken Bones?F-L-O-R-I-D-A! S-T-A-T-E! Florida State! Florida State! Florida State! Wooooo!Comment

I play nearly every game on Easy as I've gotten older as I want to progress and experience the story, not bash my head against the wall for hours while I learn the optimum strategy, min/max everything, perfect my stick skills, etc. Don't have the time nor the desire.
Just enjoy the best game of the generation, if not all time.

When I come back to it (taking some time to finish some much shorter games like Metro Redux & Link’s Awakening) I’m definitely going to play on Story and Sword. Gotta stop getting wrapped up in what the seeming majority thinks knowing I don’t have time, nor do I care, to “get good” and play on the highest difficulties in games. Normal is likely what devs envision for the majority of gamers so that’s where I’ll be. Lol

Re: The Witcher 3
I usually just play for fun, I mean thats the point right? The Witcher is one of the first I have moved up to the hardest difficulty. But this is on my 5th play thru with next game +. So it just seemed logical as I really didn't want to skate thru and I obviously have a full grasp on the mechanics of the game. LOL So far I am having fun, but I can tell I would not be on if I had played this Difficulty under any other circumstances.
Oh I’m a one time through kinda guy. Lol

Re: The Witcher 3
The only caveat is if you bought the standard edition and then bought the DLCs you just get the standard and can either purchase the DLC or buy the GOTY edition. But if you bought the GOTY edition you get that for free.

Re: The Witcher 3
In the game, we learn that no new Witchers are being created and/or trained. What are the hapless inhabitants of their world going to do when the last Witchers die? Just put up with the countless monsters that (apparently) infest every nook and cranny of it? Is there something in one of the possible endings that addresses this?Comment
