    Re: The Witcher 3

Played briefly last night between crashes (have since updated all my drivers, bios, etc and just got tired so didn't get back into it) and it was kinda silly.... it was night and raining, had all the wind and rain - but a clear sky and brilliant moon.

Any tips on switching between signs quicker? I know switching while parrying can hold of some damage but it seems like there would be a less clunky way while in the middle of a big fight.

I picked this game up yesterday based on people's opinions in this thread. I usually don't play fantasy rpgs, but this game had a different vibe to it. So far I'm impressed with everything you can do. Some of the crafting and magic seem overwhelming but I think it will grow on me. It definitely has red dead, oblivion, fallout feel to it. Is it just me or does Geralt have a solid snake feel to him. The few hours I played yesterday I kept thinking, man this is snake in midevil times.

I kind of wish I had gone with the PC version, only in the sense that I thought it needed a monster machine to run at high/ultra but it sounds like my pretty decent PC would have sufficed.

Wanna make it clear, I am not complaining about the PS4 version. It looks great and runs pretty well on PS4. Just saying, I should have done more research. Not a big deal. Very happy either way.

Turning the sensitivity all the way down in the control settings helped a ton.

Also, totally agree with how much came in the box. It was like I was 10 again looking at maps, reading instruction manuals, etc... the glory days, lol.

I've been playing since 10 this morning (I have off today). This game is incredible. Even though the movement is wonky, I've gotten used to it. So I anticipate weird things happening before they happen and correct it.

So movement is not a problem anymore. I cleared most of the question marks in White Orchard, and got some great loot to go with it.

Yeah I'm going back down to normal difficulty. I was getting mopped on blood and broken bone

Okay, I read that you shouldn't sell Geralt's starter armor because it can be improved upon. Sadly, I sold mine and have to find the guy I sold it to. How about his swords, you guys have any idea?

I think it's the same for the swords. So I'm keeping my witcher swords (even though the steel sword isn't as good as the ones I find) and my witcher armor

You know that's not a bad idea. Especially if you don't use the lock on in combat. I'm not using it because I know it can backfire against multiple enemies.

Did you turn both down? I had turned side to side down, but not up and down.

I'll definitely have to try turning both down to 0 and see how that plays out.

** I'm a fart-head...lol I meant to say the aiming sensitivity, did you turn that all the way down also? I'm currently giving it a try now so we'll see how it goes**

I know there's a way to look at your deck without entering a game. I'm not on right now, but I want to say there's an option for it if you press the Options button. If it's not there, then it has to be somewhere in the menus when you press the touchpad
