I switched to the new movement and haven't had any issues. Although I can't see what the difference is in the movements.

just adding, i mean i know that there are certain armor effects from a relic or magic, but do they not count as light-heavy as well?

I decided to restart from the beginning today. Felt that I missed so much the first time. I made it to level 13 the 1st time so I felt if I was gonna do it I needed to do it now.

            Wish me luck.

BTW, anyone using a DS4 to control the game, it supports it native now so don't start any external DS4 applications. Was a bit obnoxious trying to do anything when it didn't give any indications it was reading my controller on it's own.

I still wanted to use my macros on my DS4 using DS4Windows. Selecting Hide DS4Windows under settings eliminated any conflict between the game and the program.

If you don't use macros (e.g. swipe up on touch pad to go to the map; PS button as quick save), then it's plug-and-play.

Ursine armor and Feline everything else. I like the attack boost from the feline and the look of the Ursine.

I did a full alchemy build, relying on two decotions at once, and I used Feline... I figured I needed the boost to attack power.

I think next time I'll use Ursine.

About finished with play through number 1. I don't think I've ever done an RPG more than once but this one I'll definitely do. Really want to do a sign heavy run though next.

                      This is not a test.

Just finished the battle at Kaer Morhen, now I'm being forced into quests and can't fast travel. At the Bald Mountain quest now, will things go back to normal after that quest? I jumped from level 26 to 30 during the battle, so need access to my stash to get new gear.

Yes, im pretty sure that things go back to normal after this quest or the next one which only takes a few minutes.

After six weeks and over 500 hours (even though I think it's more like over 300 hours), I literally just finished the game. What an awesome game from beginning to end. Not a fan of multiple endings/paths but was happy with the ending and paths I received. Will definitely be picking up the game again next year once both expansions are available as it's definitely worth playing through a second time and I can see why a lot of people want new game+ to be added in via a patch. Easily, the best game this generation and my game of the year by far. My first 9.5/10 rating for this generation. Superb game.

Got a lot of freezing last night at the loading screen after being killed (got adventurous and went after a bunch of contracts that were over my head so I was dying quite often). Had to quit out of the game completely and then go back in. Never happened once pre-patch. Didn't lose any data/progress but still annoying.
