I tell ya'll what, this "collect em all" gwent expedition is starting to get on my last nerves!! Here's the thing, I look in the new book that came with the DLC, it shows numbers of my missing cards and where they "supposedly" are.

I noticed that I actually missed one in white orchard. I go back (I'm currently level 20 and pretty far into the game) to white orchard, but there's NO ONE around that the "play cards" option even comes up in conversation!!

If you know white orchard like I do, you know there's really nothing there but damn near one populated village and a nilfgaard garrison that has people in it where you can even bring up a barter conversation. Soooooo, where is this mysterious card supposed to be located if I may ask?

Are you missing the cards from the Innkeeper that you buy, or the one from the Scholar who you have to beat? For the former, I believe the merchant near the bridge sells them. For the latter, if you miss him, you should be able to find the card under Hanged Man's Tree in Velen.

Thanks for the response. Yea, I just bought I think five cards from the merchant by the bridge (don't think they were anything special).....As far as the scholar, thats interesting as far as the story goes, so I'm figuring that the scholar was hanged and thats why his card is under the tree maybe? I'll look there here in a sec, I'm actually playing right now doing the "high stakes" gwent mission. After I'm done with that, I'll check the tree. Thanks again.

The money sink in he new dlc isn't as bad as you guys made it sound. Roughly 15k. Should have that easy by that point in the game.

Don't forget get you can't still get unlimited money with the bee hive glitch

By the end of my main story run I had 78k gold. You guys need to stop hoarding and sell your stuff.

Just curious...for those of you who have purchased the same game for both Xbox One and PS4, why? Any particular reason, technical, etc. or just want the game for both consoles?

I downloaded EVERYTHING last night including the Blood and Wine pre-load. Just have to download the patch and activate B&W once im able to do so.

I will say this though...my internet speed is 50MB per second and the game took over 2 1/2 hours to download. Including the huge patch (1.12), all the free DLC, the Hearts of Stone expansion and B&W expansion, it took me almost five hours to download everything.

Not going to lie, money difference/cost, etc. is my second negative as to why im not into buying games digitally but number one negative is that it takes way too long. Plus, my friend who has 100MB per second said that it doesn't matter because PS4 maxes out at 70MB per second and Xbox One maxes out at 40MB per second. Not sure how true this is but I wouldn't be surprised if it is because whenever I download updates on Xbox One compared to PS4, it is a lot slower. Instead of visuals, Sony and Microsoft should upgrade the internet stuff so games can be downloaded faster.

Oh well. Anyway, im happy. I have the best game this generation to play through again and if the incentive of playing through this classic wasn't enough, I have two expansions to look forward to after the base game. I'm easily going to surpass the 300+ hours that I put into this game a year ago.

And I noticed while downloading the free DLC, I saw one that said "new finishers". Can't wait to see what those are.

No matter how many times I did it, I still got all giddy and laughed my *** off when chopping off heads and watching them roll down the hill due to the wind blowing. Was amazing!!!

Who knows.....The Witcher 3 could end up being my 2016 game of the year as well. Hahaha.

PS4 servers are trash period. Everything I download goes much faster on my Xbox One then my PS4. Its so infuriating, I got 120 mb per second speed and ps4 caps it to like 30 when I test. On Xbox its my full 120 and I can deffinitely tell. I dont mind paying for a subscription but I do mind paying for something that was once free without any updates to it.

Also I got to get back into this game but I still say F Gwent. Never could figure out what I was doing.

Finally sunk my teeth into the build I want to run for the rest of Blood and Wine and for my eventual NG+ save. I came across a guide on reddit on how to build an Ursine Strong Attack/Alchemy build and I spent hours today building it.

I was able to get the Mastercrafted Ursine set which is awesome and looks amazing too, threw a pink dye on the chest piece because...why not.

The build I'm currently using is probably one of the most OP in the game but it's a blast and it makes me feel like a boss, below is a link to the guide I used.

Alchemy is a lot of fun, I never thought I'd like it but it's a really cool part of the game.

I never felt like a hoarder. I finished before they patched in the chests to store extra stuff so I sold a lot of my things.

I must have spent a lot or missed chances to make more money. I never felt and still don't feel strapped for cash so it's no big deal.

Just started the witcher 2. Only complaint so far is the camera is weird sometimes. Can't wait to finish and play through 3 again and the dlc

I would recommend it except for the fact that going from 3 to it would be extremely difficult on even the biggest of fans.

I've had this game since before Christmas but haven't started playing it yet. As a teacher, I'll be on summer break in two weeks so I think that is when I will be diving into this one.

I'm in the exact same boat....
I haven't even taken the wrapper off the darn thing, because I KNOWWWW once I start playing this game, all my others are out the window.
I have too many others I am trying to finish and I don't finish games fast, because I like to savor them and just play bits as I go.

2K season game every now and again...
Battlefield if I don't have much time to play and am looking to play a couple quick games...
...currently finishing up Tomb Raider (67% complete)...
...maybe after I finish Tomb Raider, but I still want to crack open TLOU Remastered that's been sitting in my library for over a year too...
