Re: The Witcher 3
I've purchased Dragon Age Inquisition and Fallout 4 since my first playthrough of The Witcher 3 and both couldn't hold my attention very long.
I'm not a huge RPG guy because my dedication issues with gaming, but The Witcher does it all right for me. I can't force myself to really care too much for the story in anything other than Uncharted 4.
I played Syndicate for two hours before hanging it up. The storytelling in TW3 just isn't easy to match.Comment

Re: The Witcher 3
The more I play the Novigrad missions the more I hate the Witch Hunters and just want to put a blade to each of their faces.

It's weird how I feel personal hate towards a fictional video game organization.
It starts the very second you enter Novigrad.Comment

Re: The Witcher 3
Soooo, I bought this when it came out and only played a couple hours. It didn't grab me, but I'm ready to start over and give it another go.
Any recommendations for control scheme changes or tips to get me started? I put it down when it came out as the controls/movement felt very sluggish/awkward. Maybe I was being crazy..PSN: jaydazzle

Re: The Witcher 3
I tried Witcher 3 back in December, didn't get far in and stopped. Get past the original zone and it really opens up. It's like a slow book that takes a little bit to get really good.Soooo, I bought this when it came out and only played a couple hours. Re: The Witcher 3
Yeah say good bye to your loved ones and any extra free time you used to have.
On another note ANOTHER patch is downloading now ......1.23? No notes yet and I am on PS4. Lord I love this company!!!!!!!!!
Looks like it is a PS4 Patch exclusively:
Patch 1.23 for PS4 is now available worldwide!
Changelog:
- Fixes bug blocking game progression for some players
Note: If you encountered problems with interactive NPCs and items in Patch 1.22, you might experience a glitch which causes the game to show a number of scenes simultaneously after loading your save. After this you'll be able to continue playing without any further problems.Last edited by Bullit; 06-30-2016, 10:12 AM.In Loving memory of my "Cricket" 1/2/96 - 11/19/2012

Re: The Witcher 3
Holy crap is this game hard on the highest difficulty. I am enjoying taking my lumps though. I am a lowly lvl3 almost to 4....this game is stingy on the xp but I don't mind the grind. Might need to switch to alternate mode too for combat, what does this setting actually do/change?

The alternate controls basically tones down the momentum/turn radius of Geralt's movement, making it more responsive. Combat stays mostly the same though (when you're squared up/facing enemies).Comment
