Don't grind enemies. They don't give much xp. Complete quests and question marks on the map if you're trying to level up.

This is a valid excuse for just about anything. I even told my boss "Sorry I was late I was playing The Show" and he knows me well enough to know that I wasn't kidding!

There are a lot of "NOPE" and tuck-tail-and-run-away moments in this game, but I still get legitimately creeped out by those ****ing leshens.

            "HURRY THE **** UP ROACH!"

Sometimes that dude just isn't cooperative when you accidentally stumble up on some ****, the music hits, and Geralt breaks out the silver.

I call them humbling experiences. I get to the point in which I feel like a bad *** and run up on some monster only to see that red skull and 3/4 of my life swiped away in one hit. Usually a tuck and roll and a sprint for my life after that.

Finally was able to get this after searching for it. Bought a few other games as well but I know there not going to keep my attention for long. Just waiting for all the updates. Didn't get the season pass yet. Waiting till I'm halfway through the game.

There is potion, I can't remember which one, that increases movement speed. I have re named it "Runaway like a little girl" I've used it often......

I know that this is a video game and "not real," but you can just sense when these dudes are about to be popping out of nowhere to scare the bejesus out of you. The whole mood of the game changes and there's this eerie calmness on the wind.

I did the Of Dairy and Darkness quest last night
                    Spoiler
and there was a ? in the middle of a patch of woods to the north-east of it. So I trek over there and I come to the opening in the middle of the woods and I just stop. There's no activity. The wind is blowing, but everything is eerily calm. I proceed cautiously. Moreso than normal. I know there aren't any bandits waiting or a monster den since there's literally no activity in the vicinity.

As I get close enough to see its Guarded Treasure there's a red-skull leshen skulking around and circling the area.

I NOPE'd out of there with a quickness.

                    Amazing.

                      Quick question -

In the base game, im currently level 18 and in Novigrad but wanted to know if there's any way to go to Kaer Morhen now or do I have to wait until it's time to go there story wise? Thanks.

Kind of figured that. I completed the base game a year ago but I couldn't remember if I was able to go there or I had to wait via the story. Thanks.

Since the game launched, I never really understood Gwent or the fascination that people had with it.

So last night, I decided to Share Play with a buddy so he could show me the ropes of the mini-game.

After giving him the controller and watching him play a couple rounds, it finally clicked.

Now, I can't get enough of it, lol.
