Has anyone actually won the Gwent tournament? Having to use the new Skellige deck is giving me second thoughts.

I have. Did it along time ago though, trophy list says 8/11/15, so I don't know if patches made it harder. Can't help with any tips other than I know I used Northern Realms for the decoys and spys. Keep the deck slim and trim so you don't waste rounds pulling weak cards. It took a few save restores and I do remember feeling extremely lucky to win the last round too.

This game has ruined other games for me. Like, honestly, I just feel like it makes other big releases look bad with how they pale in comparison with attention to detail and immersion

Just play the game and learn enemy weaknesses and tendencies. Learn to be a witcher.

Also, craft and use witcher gear.

I see a friend posting screenies of Uncharted on Twitter and I question, how does Witcher look just as beautiful and is completely open world?

My next questions to myself, how it the hell have I not got back to this game and finished the storyline and jumped into the DLC and all the other stuff I haven't touched? Why am I finishing inferior rpgs first (looking at you FO4)?

I feel your pain. I am on my 3rd playthrough of this wonderful game, which has solidly become my favorite game of all time, and I just cant get into other RPG's right now. I have not been able to get into anything else or even finish another game. I think I posted earlier the only game I have finished this summer is Uncharted. I just go to play them and I am like "nope would rather play Witcher" and I stop.

So I'm just starting to get back in to this. Picked up my save from probably around release time. Was in the Beast of White Orchard. Killed the Griff and what not and entered Velen at around a high level 3. Problem is all the enemies in Velen are level 5, and its an issue.

Did I leave to early? What level should you leave White Orchard at? Is my game bugged because the last save was so long ago?
