My last play thru was the first time I completed the game with both expansions. My total playtime was right at 345 hours at the end of Blood and Wine. I think anyway. Its been a month or so since I played. After playing it 3 times back to back I need a little break but about ready to jump back in.

Re: The Witcher 3
Finished the story last night. What an incredible ride! Now, I have both "Hearts of Stone" and "Blood and Wine" to go through. Then, it's off to New Game Plus. Checked it out after finishing just out of curiosity and all of the locations have disappeared from the map, so I get to discover everything all over again.#LFC

Re: The Witcher 3
Hi guys
I think I'm going to purchase the expansion packs sometime this weekend, just curious which one I need first if I decide to only get one of them right now?
Also, do the packs add more to the story or just quests? And do I still keep all my stuff I have purchased and unlocked?
Thanks guysComment

Yes you keep all of your stuff. Hearts of Stone you could actually play during the main story if you wanted. Just make sure you keep playing your original game and then just follow the missions to start the quest just like you would any other.
Sorry I received your PM but things have been crazy lately and I just simply forgot. Hope you continue to have fun with this game.In Loving memory of my "Cricket" 1/2/96 - 11/19/2012

You need to play Hearts of Stone first if you are going to get only one. Blood and Wine is kind of the end of the story and kind of wraps things up. Every CDPR does adds to the story of this world.

Re: The Witcher 3
Yes it is cheaper to go the expansion pass route. There is no real need to finish everything before the getting into the expansions as you can always come back. Or save them to do on the next play thru.In Loving memory of my "Cricket" 1/2/96 - 11/19/2012

Re: The Witcher 3
Yeah since the Game of The Year edition or whatever its called came out. People have had trouble getting just the expansions on PS4. A few of my friends have had the same issue.
The problem is if you have already played the main game that you purchased by itself, then buy the Collected edition, the save files are not compatible so you have to start completely over. (Just in case some of you don't know that yet, who are just getting into the game.)In Loving memory of my "Cricket" 1/2/96 - 11/19/2012

Re: The Witcher 3
Sorry to bother with another question guys
When I got the witcher 3 my wife was sweet enough to pick up the strategy guide for me when she saw it at the bookstore. It's only for the base game though, came in handy for spots I was stumped on.
would you guys know of any good sites that would have hints to get out of spots I may get stuck on with the expansion packsComment
