Re: The Witcher 3
I an starting a new play through because its '22. This will make number 6. I took off for '21 and played some of my backlog. Some great things but nothing beats this game for me.Last edited by Bullit; 12-24-2021, 10:24 PM.In Loving memory of my "Cricket" 1/2/96 - 11/19/2012

Re: The Witcher 3
I have 100+ hours in this. Never finished the story.
I actually have who knows how many hours in the entire series and before I beat the first game rather recently I had never finished any of them.
I'm playing 2 over again and will be finishing it. Purely from a gameplay perspective it is such an upgrade over the first.
I'm hoping the update is not too far off into next year because I'm definitely going to be holding off on finally completing a playthrough of 3 until that's off, but watching the Netflix series has me itching to play 3 as soon as I beat 2.

Re: The Witcher 3
Also, the pic they posted has the tagline, "A New Saga Begins."
I guess the most obvious direction would be picking up the story somewhere with Ciri as the lead protagonist, but I wouldn't be opposed to them do something a little different. The medallion in the pic isn't a wolf or any other witcher school that I can think of, so maybe they are going off in a completely different direction. Now, more than everComment

Re: The Witcher 3
I'm fine with it being a new witcher and their own storyline, but I know others out there may not be fans of that direction. As long as the story telling and gameplay are as good I don't care.

Re: The Witcher 3
New entry? Sounds like a plan! First thing on the agenda however, is what’s the deal with the Nex Gen Witcher 3 update? Baby steps folks….. baby steps, gotta crawl before we start walking . Any updates on that? Thanks kindly.Last edited by KingsoftheValley2; 04-03-2022, 08:37 AM.Comment

Re: The Witcher 3
I have tried a few times to start a new playthrough on PC but I just don't like PC gaming that much. It feels like more work to go through most of the time.
Having this thing on my PS5 will be convenient and I can't wait. If they get me at least 60FPS and a few quality of life updates I'll be happy.

Re: The Witcher 3
I'll probably give this a look. Still have a playthrough going.
I will say though, people who put off playing this game for 6-12 months just for this patch, y'all should have just played it because I doubt this will be a huge change.Comment
