Re: inFAMOUS: Second Son
You aren't alone, well except the two months thing. I loved the first two, but there is really something lacking in the game. There isn't any one thing I can point to and say that sucks (well, nothing that would make me not like the game, the jumping animation is awful), it's just I don't enjoy my time with the game. I think the rinse and repeat control clearing missions, and the fact they are soooo similar, is a big part of it. I think I'm also not a big fan of the powers, I feel like I'm playing an TPS.
It's things we pointed out in the beginning of the thread.
They honestly could've took this game to another level but didnt.

Re: inFAMOUS: Second Son
I can understand people being disappointed if they expected more. I wish they could have added some more new stuff. At the same time, I had so much fun with inFamous 1 and 2 that this kept my full attention all the way through to a Platinum.
I think the next inFamous will really take this series to the next level.Comment

Re: inFAMOUS: Second Son
Considering how early this came out in the consoles life, I never really expected this game to make giant strides in the gameplay department. I think it was pretty obvious from the get go that you were going to get a killer looking city, VERY smooth gameplay, and basically the same inFamous experience that we'd seen in the first two games.

Re: inFAMOUS: Second Son
I would have been fine with the same game, there's just something off about the game that makes me not really enjoy playing it like I did with the previous games. I sit down really wanting to play, and 10 minutes later I'm ready to do something else. I think I am just going to have to push through.Comment

Re: inFAMOUS: Second Son
This is first game since Last of us (and those are only two games in a long while) to pull me away from FIFA - and it pulled me away for two play :,throughs and a new Platinum trophy. It's an awesome and fun game. Wish the infamous storyline was better and dialogue more in line with the fact your killing everyone but oh well.
I give it a solid 8.5/10 .

I am going to finish my second play through this week and probably wait a week or so for any DLC announcements before deciding if I should trade it in or not. Regardless, gsme has been very satisfying experience for me."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: inFAMOUS: Second Son
I just finished inFAMOUS: Second Son. Visually, the game was amazing. I was in awe of the facial expressions of the characters. Gameplay was fun to a point, and then I just hit a wall. I think that I was expecting more of a variety between powers, and was disappointed when there wasn't a ton of variety. Each button for the most part did the same thing between powers to a certain degree.
I won't be replaying as evil, and won't look to finish the game. Unfortunately I just finished today, and today was the last day of the $40 guaranteed in store credit for trading it in at gamestop. Oh well!Comment

Re: inFAMOUS: Second Son
It's funny but everyone is saying that, I feel the same way, it's just not that entertaining to me, I can't point my finger on it but there's something missing. Tomb raider was great, I liked metal gear, I even beat call of duty but infamous just doesn't hold my attention.Comment

Re: inFAMOUS: Second Son
It's weird. I picked up Tomb Raider and couldn't put it down, and beat the entire story 9 or 10 hours after I brought it home.
Then I go get inFamous and I play it sporadically and just can't get that into it. It's a cool game with beautiful graphics, don't get me wrong, but as of right now, it's nothing more to me than a game I bust out when some buds come over just so I can brag about my PS4 and how beautiful the game is.Twitter: @TyroneisMaximus
