Re: inFAMOUS: Second Son
Along side of the story mode is the Challenge Mode that gives your skill points to use in story mode. Challenge Mode is an arena mode where you fight waves of enemies or hostage situations.
Anyway, I haven't played much but it is pretty fun. Impressions I've seen is that it is only a few hours long.

Re: inFAMOUS: Second Son
Finally got around to play this one. I'm enjoying it, and it looks great. Photo Mode is amazing!
I just wish the cars looked better and moved more realistically. Cars in the previous games looked realistic, and it made the city look/feel more alive. In SS there only seem to be maybe 3 different cars and they look more like an eye-candy (those colors) than real vehicles.
I also wish Seattle was more like the real thing, but I guess game companies like to create separate islands in games to maybe prevent you from reaching certain spots before the time comes. But they could at least create some of the real skyscrapers rather than just generic ones.
Overall, it's very addictive, and I only have smoke powers so far. I love the DUP guys - the characters, the uniforms, the weapons...the entire "branding" is fantastic. Love to hear them talking to one another, it sounds great! My Specs:

Re: inFAMOUS: Second Son
Played the first one a alot, and watched lots of gameplay videos of 2.
I've been having TON of fun with SS. Not even doing story missions, just moving from DUP base to DUP base and clearing them. It's so fun! The DUP is such a great enemy. I LOVE the communication between them, it sounds great! Love the different kinds of soldiers, from the standard ones to the more powerful ones. Oh, and the lighting is just incredible.
Will I be able to change the time of day once I finish the game? I can't seem to find the option. My Specs:

Re: inFAMOUS: Second Son
Pretty easy Plat as well just a heads up. I think I only have 4 or 5 total on PS3 and PS4 combined and this game is one of them. Basically just requires two playthroughs along with a few challenge type things (I.E. kill three guys by doing X, etc.).Comment

Re: inFAMOUS: Second Son
OK, I take it all back. I was having a blast with the game...until that angel demon level. I tried and tried, but it was awful. Plus, I just can't stand this silly nonsense. As long as the game was in the city fighting the DUP and their buddies, it was awesome. Once it got to the the angel BS, that was it.
The game came out of my PS4 and won't go back there, unless I start over and just free roam around the city without ever doing story missions. I guess I should have known. inFamous 1 looks to be the best. As far as I can remember if didn't have a lot of this supernatural demons stuff. That's probably why I was enjoying it.My Specs:

Re: inFAMOUS: Second Son
That's too bad. You get some great powers from that fight and the story really picks up there.Comment

Re: inFAMOUS: Second Son
That's the thing. I don't care about the powers that much (I have watched youtube videos so I know most powers already), but I'm just fine with what powers I currently have. I was enjoying free-roaming doing DUP bases 100 times more than any of the story mission. I'm not a fan of supernatural games, anyway. But since It's about supernatural powers, you can't expect none.
Based on the concept of this game, it was never my kind of game, but as long as it was fighting human/conduits, I was having fun. That's basically more of what I like. I must admit that I bought the game ONLY because of the DUP fights. The rest didn't really make me wanna buy it.My Specs:
