Examiner: With Natural Movement, is it the speed with which you can move around the world that makes it unique or is it the fluidity?

Smektala: Even though the speed and fluidity are clear benefits of our Natural Movement system, the most important one is the freedom it provides. In Dying Light you can go nearly everywhere, so for the first time in a first person game you’re no longer confined to corridors. If you saw a building in a traditional game you could only go around it, sometimes you could peek inside, and in very few instances you could really explore the interior of that building. In Dying Light most of these limitations are removed. If you see something that looks like it is within the reach of your hands you can probably grab it, and climb on top of it. Because of that there are no set ways to travel from point A to point B, but there are hundreds of possible paths. You can go through the streets like a regular person, but you can also climb on rooftops and run on them, you can hop over fences, or break into buildings on your way to see if anyone left anything that could be useful for survival.

The more I see this game the more I want to play it. It looking real good and to me is Dead Island but with Parkour and more scarier. Wonder how the weapon system is gonna be though.

Did the devs talk about Co-op or is it just a single player game. Because co-op in this would be scary and fun at the same time. It would be a scarier Dead Island without the Skill tree system. Did they show gameplay at E3 because all I remember was a trailer.

Came across this game as I had forgotten about it...looks like early 2015 release!!!!

Kinda reminds me of: Far Cry meets the Apocolypse

...something I would love.

...they say it's open-world, but I'll be interested to see how open it really IS . They rave about the day/night cycle & the ability to leap/climb onto almost everything.

Just hoping for a LARGE world (ala Skyrim or Fallout) and little-to-none of the linear aspects.

...can't wait!

I'm so glad this game is coming out on 360. I'm a huge zombie fan and the Dead Island games are my favorite zombie games out there. I was so pumped when I found out the developers of Dead Island were making this. It's also been announced that the game's coming out a month earlier then what was previously said. http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/09/...g-january-2015
