    I haven't spent a dime buying any new weapons yet. I do do a **** ton of scavenging every game play though.

      I unlocked a police van that was "very hard" hoping to get a gun and got a baton. Needless to say I was really disappointed but it is my best weapon yet.


      I've yet to find a single knife anywhere in the world. The ones I have I bought at the tower by selling the humungous loads of coffee and cigarettes I've found.


      Every locked box I find has some kind of wrench or hammer....these Harran folks loved to lock their wrench or hammer in a highly secure toolbox.

        I ran across a gang of guys today with guns. Snuck up behind one with a bat. Took his gun and mowed down the rest of his crew. Got two police rifles now. I also have not found guns lock picking. Usually just solid melee weapons.

          Any luck with silencers???


          A part of me says that the developers just would not give that weapon to us because they fear it would lessen the experience, but dammit if we're in a zombie apocalypse and can craft items why wouldn't wecraft a make shift silencer??


          I want something ridiculous on the barrel of my gun like "The Walking Dead" silencers.

            They need to put in Darrel's crossbow. Or any bow. That would pretty much solve the problem.

            I freakin love using bows in Tomb Raider and Far Cry.

              I don't think guns really have too much of a use in this game, aside from fighting armed survivors. In my personal experience they are extremely clunky, really loud (so attract everything within 5 miles) and not too much stronger than melee weapons.

              Just my opinion, I've really struggled in the challenge that requires guns. I haven't used them otherwise unless I've been fighting armed opponents in a confined space.

              No silencers from what I've seen.

                I haven't seen a silencer. I do think it's hilarious that it's so hard for us to find guns when pretty much everyone in the tower has one. Haha.

                I like it though. Lack of guns it was makes this not be a run of the mill Fps for me and honestly I'm getting sick of fps games right now so it works for me.

                  I have read no snipers/silencers or bows. But on the website is had sniper, and like 5 bows listed as "not in game" so I would suspect in a future dlc we will get those weapons. Not looking good on the silencers though, maybe if someone starts a petition or something we could get them? Really think that's the only thing that missed the mark in the whole game, not having craft able fun upgrades/mods.

                    Not sure how exactly, but a audio file bugged and attached to my save somehow. Kyle screams "Holy ****!" first thing when it finishes loading the world. Everytime. Been happening for days now.

                      What's with those zombies that are on fire when you encounter them? They never dier by the fire ... had one chase me for some time, and they seem extra tough too.

                            Also this game is in desperate need of a fast travel in a certain spot. I don't want to spoil anything but the distance I had to travel last night to get to a certain spot makes me not even want to go back to the earlier part and finish things up. Just a long *** haul.

                              I noticed if you quit and reload it puts you back in the tower instead of the nearest safe zone. I've cheated and used that one way fast travel of sorts if I have things to turn into the tower and was out in the outskirts of the slums. It's only one way obviously though.

                                Yeah but then you have to run through the sewers again. Haha. Catch 22 I guess. Just a long haul. I hope I stay interested enough to do it over and over again. I'm really enjoying this game as of now but it's an obvious flaw that stands out to me.
