I felt the early game threw me right in the mess before I was even ready. It didn't feel like a grind at all because I felt like I was ill-prepared and fighting for my life just to get a leg up.

Bought it yesterday and man, super happy I did. This is probably the game that'll out the nail in Destiny's coffin. Did a lot of coop with my buddy who is a level 11. If you do coop, you can drop weapons for one another, FYI. My friend gave me a few modded weapons he wasn't using. I put them away though because I want the experience of being a low level and using low level weapons.

Night time is intense man.

Coop is so fun. Much better when you have someone to watch your back while you lock pick.

Bought Dying Light last Saturday but traded it in this past Tuesday and purchased Unity. I love the survival and exploration elements of Dying Light but since it's not meant to be a shooter, it should have been in third person because it would have been better especially with the free running. Aside from that, I wasn't a fan of the button configuration. Good game though. Just wish it was third person instead of first person.

Imo it has to be first person. Third person would ruin it by giving you to much perception of your surroundings. Most of the fear factor here is not knowing what's behind you and how close it is.

Totally agree with this. Love the way the weapons look in first person too. Especially when you get upgrades on them.

I picked up a really good bat last night. I've got 3 different purple blueprints I can throw on it. Tonight my first order of business is to try out all the mods, reload and re-mod with what looks the most bad *** regardless of the attributes it adds.

When this is all over I'll be writing my memoirs and titling them, "Confessions of a Superficial Zombie Hunter".

I'm fairly buffed out in stats but im finding it a bit much at first to have so many zombies around, so many chests be locked, and so many virals being around

I've been having fun with this for the most part. The story is garbage, but the gameplay isn't too shabby. The parkour is very well done. I still feel quite underpowered at the moment, though. Thank goodness for those exploding throwing stars, they saved my *** in the Slums School.

The part where you have to plant the bombs for Michael made me uneasy, more specifically, with the child zombie. Ugh. Hated that.


Then, he screamed, and I'm flooded with what had to have been over 20 zombies in a tight space and nowhere to run. I capped that kid next time I saw him, no hard feelings. Still though, the fact they put that in the game, I'm torn over. I don't like shooting/killing a freaking toddler on the game, but the balls to put something like that in is commendable, I guess.

You dont kill them. Just go up to it and it gives you the option to calm it down. You get a trophy.

Maybe garbage was too strong of a word, but these characters aren't all that interesting to me so far. Maybe it picks up as I get deeper into the game.
