I wish they would at least have some of these people go with you on these side missions

This game is so much fun with friends. Me and two buddies have been playing a lot together lately. It's fun to either do things together or just take off and do our own thing. Also if you're playing with a friend who finishes a side quest you haven't done, it'll be complete in your game as well.

Honestly this is by far the best zombie game I have played to date. I had a hard time playing dead rising and dead island both put together very poorly I thought but this the more I get into it the more I find different things that come in and make this game awesome, from playing for a 5 hours and then all of a sudden waiting at night in a safe zone cause lord knows not to go out at night but having a severe thunderstorm roll in and only being able to see the zombies when the lightning flashes was great to the hazmat zombies with the tanks on there backs to where you hit them and they fly in the air and explode, just crazy and I am only about 8 percent in. I for one love this game and was iffy about buying it but so glad I did and I for one have not tried coop yet. The game to me is a mix of old school resident evil,28 days later type atmosphere along with a little far cry type movement. I give it a 9 or 10 and I am hard on games cause it takes alot to keep me interested.

            Re: Dying Light

Finished the story yesterday. The first 10-15 hours of gameplay I really enjoyed, but then it took a turn. It Began to feel like a chore. Crane's VA really bugged me, the story got really cheesy, and quests became boring and repetitive and there were too many generic and unimaginative side quests.

I rushed to finish so I can hopefully get some good trade value on friday. It was decent enough for me to at least finish it, though. Normally I just shelf a game when I get bored with it and it collects dust for months/years.

              Re: Dying Light

Was looking at IGNs guide for craftables, doesn't appear to be any kind of "silent" solution. That really irks me because I hate the design choice made by the developers since there's no stealth killing ability; no silencers, no cross-bow or bow and arrow.

I hate being forced to play a certain way, it speaks to me of a lack of ingenuity from this team that they could not balance a stealth approach with specific stealth weapons...not just throwing stars....

Why wouldn't anyone want to create a silencer for their gun or build a cross-bow or bow and arrow. For me the advantage of being a human vs a zombie is using my intellect which is not entirely available since I am being forced to rely on melee weapons and primarily using parkour to mitigate direct combat.

The thing that separates this game from others is pretty much everything you mentioned above. I don't want it gun heavy. If it was it pretty much becomes far cry. I like pulling out my gun only when I need it most.

Same here ricky. I have a pistol but have yet to fire a shot. Saving it for a really dire situation. I found blueprints for a 500+ damage machete that only requires 10 alcohol and 20 metal parts. Pretty much my go to weapon. So much fun hacking up zombies with melee weapons.

I got extremely bored with FC4 due to the fact that after a couple of hours, I already had almost every weapon I wanted.

                      Re: Dying Light

For me, this games version of stealth is "hit and run." There are a ton of ways to put that into play especially once the crafting of grenades and bombs opens up. Creating a lot of mayhem, death, and most of all noise is only bad if you stick around where you started all of the trouble. So instead of tight space stealth it can be played more as open space stealth via movement.

It doesn't always work as well in the closed mission areas but some of those also provide for it as long as you are willing to create space by heading back the way you came.

Hey i found this really cool bomb blueprint. Go to the top of the tower and find the checkers board. Keep making a move/go down the elevator/make a move

once you win you get this thing called a Sick Bomb blueprint...it makes zombies fly like they have the oxygen tank on their back. Hilarious and fun.

Pretty fun game so far, only about 2 hours in. Not really scary but it can get pretty intense and creepy at night.

I finally got tired of side quests and went full-on main story line the last few nights. Up to about 85 percent, it's a little predictable but still having fun none the less.

The story so far has been pretty easy to predict but it still keeps me interested enough, the side quests haven't been to tedious yet.

Going out at night is still crazy intense for me, does it remain like that for most of the game?
