Re: Ryse: Son of Rome
In terms of stills, yeah, you could find a PC game like Skyrim that would match up just fine. In motion? I haven't played much that looked as good as Ryse does in motion, and I have a pretty decent PC. Things like facial expressions, movement, and how alive the environment feels are all part of the "graphics" package for me.Writer for Operation Sports

Re: Ryse: Son of Rome
I'm a PS4 guy, but I agree that this game is currently the graphics king for consoles. Killzone looks great but the Xbone launch exclusives (forza and ryse) definitely get the nod graphics wise.
I'm not a huge fan of the game, I think it's decent, but I've only played about an hour admittedly.
Regardless the visuals are outstanding.
I have a mid-range PC and ryse is up there for sure"Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: Ryse: Son of Rome
Just finished Chapter V, and outside of the repetitive battles this game is amazing. Graphics are top notch, the story and cutscenes are great, and I just want to keep going to find out what will happen next. The environments are amazing.
I can overlook the repetitive fighting and character models in exchange for everything else this game has to offer.
So far I'd give this game an 8/10. Depending on the story the last couple chapters it could end up at either a 7, 8, or 9.NHL: Vegas Golden Knights

Re: Ryse: Son of Rome
Just finished the game, and the game was definitely worth buying. Enjoyed the story the whole way through and the ending was very fitting. It was a short game, but in the end I would give it an 8/10. If it was a bit longer, or had some more fighting variety it would easily be a 10, but those are what hold it back in my mind. The story, visuals, scripted scenarios, and everything along those lines was great.NHL: Vegas Golden Knights

Re: Ryse: Son of Rome
Just thought I'd mention I just received a email with a code for digital content that apparently I was suppose to receive purchasing the game digitally. Just a heads up to check your emails. It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.Comment
