Preordered the gold edition on PC today. Expecting to be primarily a PvE player but we'll see how it goes.

Damn Ubisoft servers....been having problems staying connected again tonight, the others in my party are fine though.

This happened to me the last day of the closed Beta as well so I'm sure it's nothing on my part as I'm able to play other online games just fine.....so hopefully this is something on their part.
People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.

Well I feel between the closed and open beta I've logged close to 60 hours with this game. It's amazing, we are gonna have so much fun in retail

I really wish they increased the damage in PvP. Since it takes a hundred bullets to take down somebody firefights really boil down to who has the most men in their squad. I was playing on a four man squad earlier and really zero tactics are necessary attacking lone players and two man squads. You can literally just run up to three feet of them and know you will win the outcome. Since they have a smooth cover system bullets being more deadly would require tactics and suppression instead of just bum rushing.

I know its the nature of the RPG system in this game but really its impossible for one player to punish idiots who just charge into a hail of bullets because one magazine doesn't even kill and by the time you are done reloading all four enemy players are just on top of you.

Honestly bullets are so weak in this game I usually just unload point blank my entire magazine and then start meleeing like it's a bayonet charge during the Civil War. Sadly that is an effective strategy.

We were surviving a Manhunt in the sewers and one guy kept coming down on his own and Candy melted him each time with with his gold LMG. If you have a good gear bonus to firearms and a good gun, you can do plenty of damage to anyone. Also keep in mind since it is an RPG, some people make "tank builds" with high armor and high stamina for massive health points. Like most any RPG, there are levels, gear differentials, health points, armor, etc. It's an RPG.

                Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)

I gave up going through my saved footage. I am really sick and my head is killing me. Here are a few pretty un-exciting clips that don't do our run justice. I wish they kept track of these kind of stats because if I had to guess I would say we had a legitimiate 10-1 K/D ratio as far as rogues we killed and times we were killed by rogues. My first honest guess was closer to 20-1 but Bolt told me that might be high. I'm gonna make tally points next time. All I know is it was some of the most fun I ever had. My health/skillpower build idea for support/heals worked perfect for me, can't wait to take it to endgame in the retail.

A few clips I clipped before giving up ,that don't do our rampage justice. Right here.

Candy accidentally went rogue and we had him hide in corner with two of us surrounding him. I come in late acting like I am gonna help this guy take down the rogue, he has no idea I'm teamed with candy. Guy throws a grenade, hits the Hoos and Bolt, and get's flagged as rogue. Then his experience changes quite dramatically, quite
                rapidly.

                Spoiler

We had two encounters with another group from OS in the DZ. The first one, they had one member attack Candy and we tried to stay out of it but it became a 7 minute drawn out affair on top of the gas station before we took them out. We went to a DZ entrance and were attacked by the group again and this how it ended.

Some guys followed us to the cleaners and tried to ambush us after we looted the whole mob. They telegraphed their play and well, it didn't end well for them.

                EDIT

Also, big shout out to everyone from OS who ran with us the last few days, was awesome having you guys. Guys like Bulitt, Cruise, JB, Myghty, Kearnzo, Mike 24, etc, yall are awesome

Me and Hoos this eve were running up there too. Figured out we could run in the sky. I believe Ubi may be aware of this glitch. And if they aren't, Hoos is letting them know via video.

                        Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)

Didn't get a whole lot of time to mess with this, so we only completed the medical wing mission and some side stuff, but my son and I played together and finally hit the DZ today, both at level 7. It wasn't as chaotic as I was expecting. Went rogue by accident (random dude got caught in a crossfire), but the other people around were cool and let us off when we did the "surrender" emote.

This one random dude kept spamming us with invites and I guess he finally got frustrated that we ignored him, so he and his friends just kept going rogue on us. It was annoying at first (they camped out by the DZ entrance and only went rogue when we showed up), but they were predictable and over-aggressive, so it led to easy DZ experience. It was a lot more fun than I expected as someone who typically hates online multiplayer.

My only irritation is that sometimes opening doors/crates doesn't respond which can be frustrating (and, in one case when I was leaving the DZ, deadly, as someone killed me on my third attempt at getting the button to register).

Overall, as someone who almost never plays online games at all (SW: Battlefront is the only online game I've played besides this in years...and I suck at that), I like the way everything blends together between single and multiplayer. Plus, being an RPG means that my slow reactions and tendency to be methodical don't get me killed as much as in a typical shooter and actually seem to even work to my advantage a bit.

Anyway, the beta did it's job for me. I went from casually curious to seriously considering purchase.

EDIT: Oh, one frustrating glitch happened twice where my son was next to me on the map and could see me, but I couldn't see him and it showed him static at some other location. Exiting and reentering the DZ cleared it though.

Yeah, saved a video of me doing the glitch and how you gain altitude by running up stuff. You can even get higher when a partner helps you, me and Bolt were pretty high up. Really hoping they fix this!

I did my own video in case the guy who posted the one I found took it down.

                                The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)

So from my time in the beta, the best times to be in the darkzone will be at the start when everyone is grinding for loot. A week, two weeks, a month after release, going into the darkzone will be pointless since God gear players will just look to troll those still grinding and they will have no real reason not to troll helpless players.

Losing DZ rank and DZ credits will mean nothing to those who've already hit gear caps. People with their all yellow/purple load outs will have literally nothing to lose by going rouge. Especially since there is no formal PvP mode in the game. Will be interesting to see how that irons out.
