I have another perspective on this one, a bit longer since it's the only one I recorded (I thought I got the OS gas station battle but didn't) No mic audio:

    <iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/nccKTNu72GI?rel=0&amp;showinfo=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

First part is us wiping out the Cleaner mob (that M1A does so much work).

2nd is after we finish looting, the other squad shows up and shoots one of us to go rogue for a short time (that may have been accidental as we were in a heavy PvE area). When that expires, one of us shoots the wrong guy and it made US rogue, but for a longer time. They don't really do a whole lot to try and kill us during that whole timer.

3rd clip - my rogue timer is the only one still going, but with 5 seconds left they try to take advantage. Same as what happened to us before, someone shoots me as my timer expires, making them rogue and then we just wipe 'em out. Same part as Jare's video.

Has anyone been having issues with proximity chat on Xbox One? For some reason all proximity chat is coming through the TV, but can't get it through my headset. I've tried and checked just about every single setting in-game, on the One and on my TV, nothing seems to help.

In party chat is fine, and it's even fine when I'm in a group with people in the game, we can hear each other just fine as if we were in party chat. But proximity chat won't work in my headset.

I didn't have any problems earlier. I was in a group with 2 other guys and we could hear players that were near us.

Alright, I can't figure out why my headset won't pick up proximity chat. I have no issues in a group, nor in game chat. But while I can see the audio marker above people's heads and can hear them through the TV, my headset doesn't pick it up. It's really odd.

              I hope that's the case.

I will say, it turns out helping out people at extraction points in the DZ is a very easy way to make friends. I added 6 new friends just from random people on Saturday night alone.

While I was spending time going lone wolf in the DZ, I helped a guy clear out NPCs from an extraction point, then took down a rogue who shot at us while the guy was extracting his stuff. Ended up grouping up with him and two of his friends.

Then later in the night while rogue hunting against a group 5 or 6 rogues who were all working together (including a person from my friends list who I was grouped up with earlier in the night, and who I wanted to kill just for ****s and giggles), we ended up teaming up with another group of 3 guys.

Unfortunately we had to move to party chat to communicate with the other group, but it ended up being a hell of an evening.

I will also say, I think that's why the DZ will still be fun, even down the road when everyone has high level weapons and gear.

A lot of people yesterday and today had nothing but purple weapons or even the gold weapons from the DZ Safe House vendor. And yet, I was constantly running into a bunch of good people who were intentionally avoiding going rogue and were going out of our way to hunt down rogue with a sense of bringing justice.

Even tonight right before I called it a night, I was running down a street as a lone wolf and saw 5 rogues running through an intersection ahead, followed by 7 other people chasing and shooting at them. I quickly joined the chase, which I could hear them say in proximity chat through my TV say welcome to the party, and the 8 of us proceeded to hunt down every last one of them. And when they would go rogue again, or someone else would pop up as a rogue somewhere, we took off running and the chase and gun battle was on again.

I have no doubt there will be plenty of people like that in the full game. While there are plenty of people who want to watch the world burn and will spend their entire time in the DZ going rogue and griefing randoms, there will also be plenty of people working together to hunt down and kill any and all rogues.

^ I would also expect that, after the first couple of weeks post-release, the morons will get bored and the DZ will be at least close to the experience it's meant to be.

Losing DZ rank and DZ credits will mean nothing to those who've already hit gear caps. People with their all yellow/purple load outs will have literally nothing to lose by going rouge. Especially since there is no formal PvP mode in the game. Will be interesting to see how that irons out.
Definitely worrisome. Hopefully they find a way to rank a gear score in matchmaking? Not sure if its possible as you're leveling up, maybe at max level idk.

Its a great point though and I hope it's not too bad.

Well as someone who does not normally play these kinds of games, PvP part I am referring to, I really must say it is a lot of fun.

I ran with Jare and the guys for a bit and they gave me a lot of pointers and helped me level up to be competitive. thanks so very much guys. Running with friend was really something I could get into and was amazingly fun. 5 hours went by in a flash.

I went on yesterday to try to catch up to everybody again and for some reason it would not let me join anybody, there is the possibility they were all ignoring me and just didn't want a noob ruining their fun LOL. So I went solo what a terrifying and fun couple of hours. I actually managed to survive and kill some rouges. Though I did go rouge a time or two by accident and quickly suffered the wrath of some players. I even managed to pull of an extraction all by myself, which I was pretty proud of.

Really the only thing I would like to see added to this game is the ability to lower your stance. I am not saying that this needs to be a stealth game. But running solo I would have really like to go to a crouch that keeps my silhouette below the sight line. I think it would help with getting around and maybe avoiding trouble and setting up a more successful run. But that is just me.

So anyway, I will definitely get this game as soon as it is possible for me to do so. Look forward to seeing some of your guys in the streets and the rest of you in my sights.

Friday was going to be my night to give this a great go and of course internet went down 30 minutes into my session. I knew I wouldnt have much time on Saturday on Sunday, so I didn't get to play the beta much at all. Either way, I am looking forward to release day!

I enjoyed the beta. I really haven't played a multiplayer game in years. I like going after rogues in the DZ and turning rogue every blue moon just to see how long I last. Being in the DZ made it easier when I played missions.

Hope to join in with you guys in a few weeks.

I would love the ability to crouch! I spent most of Sunday night in the DZ as a lone wolf. The tension just ramps up when you're alone.

As part of a group of friends it's fun because you can do pretty much anything and know you have firepower on your side if anyone messes with you guys. But when you're all alone and you know that odds are you'll be outnumbered and outgunned in any and every situation, you really learn to keep your *** in cover, constantly check every direction around you and really have a vigilance of your surroundings like a hawk.

You also learn to keep a hair trigger on your guns because you never know when you'll have to start unloading on that stranger you just passed in the middle of the street should they decide they want to shoot at you.

It really is two different styles of play in the DZ, when playing as a lone wolf versus playing as part of a group.
