    Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)

It's cracks me up reading certain people in this thread.

Me, Jare, Hoos, & Candy played a **** ton of content these first two days. Cleared out much of the story mode on hard mode and along 70-80% done with each of the 3 wings.

Game is hard to stop playing, I stopped this afternoon at lvl 21 (oh so close to 22) with all purple weapons & about half my armor slots purple with the rest blue.

Should be 30 to start working gear lvl in a day or two.

Ran a bit of dark zone as well.

Hint: for those of you you waiting to hit the DZ when you're at lvl 10 or so... Wait!

Hit it at lvl 15, you're gonna encounter less agents for some reason and you'll go up 10 or so DZ levels in literally a few kills lol.

    Those of you who caved...

    Welcome!

It crack's me up that some people are more than 2/3 to max level and have seen just as much content and the game has been out less than 48 hours.

I've only had a few hours to play last night and will only have a few tonight, but I can't wait to get back at it.

The good thing about this game is there using just so much to do, even if not immediately apparent on the surface. And I plan on taking my time and taking on everything there is out there.

Can someone help me? Got to the helicopter scene on release night. Servers crashed during. I think I was heading to Manhattan . Now I have zero marks on my map and no idea what to do to progress the game. I've already completed the only mission on my map uploadfromtaptalk1457566124006.jpg

Edit: Nevermind. Found YouTube video showing where Manhattan is at. Working now

I had zero interest or intentions in buying this game; reading through this thread this afternoon and it's installing on my One....hate all of you and your glowing impressions of a game I never planned to buy, lol.

Just picked this up on PS4. Stuck on freakin' complete the activation. I'm doing what it says on screen, but it doesn't confirm activation. Anyone else have this problem and figure it out?

This game is fantastic. I knew I'd enjoy it from the little bit of the beta that I played, but it's truly exceeded my expectations. Just hit level 11 a little bit ago. I know some people are talking about how they want to do this solo, but I'd encourage teaming up even if you just do it with randoms. No one on my list was playing when I got on, so I decided to do auto matchmaking to help me complete a mission. I didn't talk to anyone while we did it, but we worked together and got through the Joe Ferro mission. Salutes all around when we finished up. We went through the gates of hell together lol.

                Love this ****.

Yeah, this is also the best way to ensure you're playing with guys who are similar in level to you. For me it's not really as much fun doing the missions when one overleveled person can just bulldoze the whole thing.

I think that's simply because there aren't as many people in the second player bracket yet. 1-14 is the catch-all bracket for anyone who first wanders into the Darkzone, so it's definitely going to be more populated. Plus the action is going to be mostly confined to DZ01, where those 1-14 players actually have a chance against the NPC's.

Some of those missions, holy crap. I made the mistake of doing the department store medical mission by myself last night. Holy Jesus was that a challenge! I actually ended up beating it by myself, but it took nearly a full hour to accomplish it.

Thankfully I had Shando, from here at OS, by my side as we did the Lincoln Tunnel, the Subway Morgue, the Hudson Railyard and at least half of the Napalm mission before he got disconnected.

The Napalm mission was another long hour or so as I attempted to finish off the second half of the mission by myself. I managed to do it, but I wholeheartedly recommend doing those missions with teams! Save yourself the aggravation!

I've really enjoyed being able to take my time, pace and fully explore every single thing in the single player/Co-op portion of the game, but tonight, when I come up to missions, I am absolutely teaming up, even if it's with random people. Some of these missions are a pain in the *** (and probably a lost hour or two) trying to complete them by yourself.

Some of the missions are crazy intense, I can't wait to unlock challenge mode. The team work required to get through hard mode scaled to 4 guys is awesome. I love it.

This is the first I've checked the thread since game launched and servers stabilized. Crazy how much traffic it's getting on here.

I just hit level 24. I finished my tech wing today, am one unlock away from completing medical, and have a ways to go in security.

I definitely recommend waiting until you have all the master skill mods unlocked before making long term plans. The signature skill, as well as the master mod for each skill, can change how you use it, what talents you use, what gear/attributes you wanna spec, etc.

Between both betas and launch so far I'm at around 85 hours combined. I can definitely see myself going over 1000 hours easily.

My main dilemma right now is deciding exactly how I want to handle talents and how I'm gonna handle rotating between sticky bomb, turret, and heal gun (I'll always have support station slotted in either area) depending on different situations in dark zone and main area,

I'm gonna start making an alt soon and go super tank status, gear everything toward stamina and electronics. Someone with the shield that heals you when ur attacked, a healing station, and a nice sidearm shotgun will be able to absorb massive damage/aggro.

This journey has just begun, and this journey is great. I can't wait to 100 percent everything and explore every nook and cranny.

This is the game I thought destiny was supposed to be when I bought it.

                          Thank you, Ubisoft

I've been testing a lot of combos, both solo and teamed, and have a lot of thoughts I plan on writing down as far as builds/load outs/strategy

Oh, and that enemy faction that can hack your turrets and use them against u, that's awesome

I like first person shooters and all but it is really refreshing having very good third person shooter. One that is tactical like socom or like the last ghost recon.
