I was trying to figure out what vulgar word could possibly work as a solution lol. I definitely made the mistake of putting my stuff on the rope too early one time. So running wouldn’t have done much but I see what you’re saying. No reason to put stuff on the rope until seconds before extraction

Lol, 6 piece Nomad is so much fun to just pure pvp in the DZ. If I have no loot or no care in the world it literally with enough Firearms can melt guys. I've been going into DZ1, getting a piece of clothing and calling extractions just to bait people. I can handle really bad 3 man teams, and average 2 man teams with ease. In a 1v1 I am about 95% sure I can win. The downside is if both your nomad and your recovery link are on cool down you are pretty squishy, but having a sidearm with determined helps get your skills back faster.

But its a really fun build and for those of you that don't like to solo the DZ this seat can help you out a lot.

I missed the nomad global event unfortunately so putting that set together will be rough. Still got 4 pieces to go. Im enjoying the 4 piece nomad build for now.

Got my buddy started in DZ today. He doesn’t have the best gear yet but I just wanted him to check it out. We just cleared an landmark, grabbed some tech and did an extraction to show him the ropes. A single guy came up on us (looked like he checked out gear out or our levels. Not sure what you can see when examining players in DZ) and then let us extract so that was cool. He went rouge right after though. Haha. Took my buddy and me both out. I almost killed him but my friend was admiring his extraction pop up so he wasn’t ready to finish him off. Good lesson for him though. Gotta be ready.

I got this at launch, played mostly solo and have been two trophies away from the platinum on this for ever. The two were you have to kill rogues in the DZ. I keep telling myself I should jump back in and see the current state. Seems to be a lot of fun to be had since the rebalancing.

If you study the gear you can tell what they are running, you can also ascertain their DZ level.

I figured you could see the DZ rank at least. And I was with a lvl 2 so not surprising the guy did what he did but like I said at least he waited until we extracted so no big deal.

I run this set with high stamina and health, toughness is over half a million.
Both weapons with predatory, you are REALLY hard to bring down, lol.

DAMMIT. The Cache's REFUSE to give me the last pieces i need for my Classified Hunter's Faith and Fire Crest sets, nor does it give me the damn House (and i'm coming close to triple digit caches), though i have gotten all of the exotic armor with the exception of the shortbow pads. Think i'll save a HExotic build at some point.


Mostly, i just want to get the masks from the accomidations. I do hate that when you matchmake after setting your parameters, half the time you don't et the ones you want. I try and do Hard Queens Tunnel with Strategic Ambush, and i get paired with guys running the regular ambush modifier. I WANT THAT MASK DAMMIT.

Oh, and its awesome to run the legendary missions for the exotic cache's with Ambush on. The damage modifier makes such a difference. Legendary Times Square and Warrengate were a breeze.

I need the fire crest vest. My buddy has like 3 and he’s opened like 6 caches to my 34. Frustrating to say the least.

I’ve never seen a house and don’t plan on ever seeing one at this rate.

You gotta pair up with friends and just run the event missions on hard to get the mask. Only logical way to do it because you can just purposely stick together for that one mask. It’s a pain with randoms. You can each get 25 kills or so a run on police Academy. I need 40 kills tonight to finish it up.

God I forgot how much fun this game was. This game owned my life for the first couple months after it released on Xbox One, up until it got bad after some early updates.

I ended up getting this for PS4 for super cheap during one of the holiday sales at the end of 2016, I think at either Gamefly or Gamestop. Just finally started getting back into it again over the past week or two after all the updates and improvements, I feel at home on the streets of New York all over again!

While I had to start all over on PS4 and am only currently level 13 on my character (and yet to reintroduce myself to the Dark Zone), I am having as much fun as I did the first time I played this game. I still remember where the good weapon and armor containers are in the various districts, where named enemies are, I still love that feeling of walking down the middle of the street in a heavy snow storm.

Hell, after all this time, I still move down the sidewalks in the PVE world instead of the middle of the streets, remembering back to when I played in the DZ on Xbox One, it was safer to stay on the sidewalks where you could quickly dive behind cover or disappear down alleys instead of running down the middle of the street with a big target on your back.
