Imo it's far far better then destiny 2 in both games current state. The fire fights are intense. There's an insane amount of stuff to do UG, survival, incursion, DZ, resistance, last stand, daily and weekly hvt and the wsp.

This game is in such a better place right now its not even funny. Game is fun, rewarding (frustratingly so at times) challenging at times maddening at others. (Checkpoints on Legendary missions is a bit of a joke). I have been back for about a week and been farming non-stop. Finished my 6 piece strikers build and the stability is amazing. My LW:M4, Bullfrog and Big Al are all just lasers when I shoot them now.

I think PVP is in a pretty good place, but they will probably need to buff some of the tech build weapons, sticky bomb and seeker specifically. With most predator builds and a lot of Striker builds running 9K stamina I think bringing those two back to some degree will help with how OP Preds feel.

I am really enjoying the game, its filled the Space of Destiny 2 nicely for me and my enjoyment of looter shooters. The guys at Massive and Red Storm have done a nice job of bringing this game back from the brink.

Ive put in a lot of time in the last two years with this game and I agree, its probably in the best place it has ever been. So many different good builds you can roll with and this fun is back in it.

I’ve been playing this game since launch and essentially have done no PvP. Probably spent like an hour total in the DZ. I did get a key piece of gear in there though so I’m thinking about diving in more. Just have no idea what to go with in there build wise.

Nomad, Predator, Striker. Personally I like Nomad.

All this positive talk is making me install the game again. I'm so worn out with Destiny 2. I liked The Division anyway. I just had nobody to team up with.

Literally had a crazy run of luck this morning. In about 15 minutes I managed to get The heel, classified Pred gloves, classified Sentry holster, Big Al and a ninja back. Was able to give most of it away to people on reddit. Then ran with them for about 2 hours farming in DZ09.

I messed around in WSP doing the various objectives, but I haven't had much luck getting set pieces, and I'm not sure what the best way to get classifieds is.

It all depends, there are tons of videos on YT about soloing Pier 93 to wave 8 to get two drops from the loot box. It all depends on how much time you've got. I hate to admit, but with my wife and kid away and me being on vacation to start the year I have spent between 10-16 hours the last week or so farming gear in the DZ/UG and some resistance. Farming in a group helps because it improves your changes 4x if you are in a group with members willing to share loot.

But next Tuesday the next Global Event happens and that is your best chance to gear up quickly. Get with a group and you can run challenging and legendary missions till you max out at 10000 GE credits, then go spend them on the 1500 GE caches that offer the best chance for classified gear (weighted towards the new sets, but you can get all sets). That 7 day period will be your best chance to gear up quickly.

Edit: THere is no limit to how many GE credits you can get, but the most you can hold is 10000 then after you spend them you can gather them again and again.

Finally got my last piece for my 6 piece Predator Classified Gear Set. Absolutely shredding in PVP and at the same time very tanky with 9k stamina

Man some people are so awful in DZ. I’m in here solo. Help 2 guys fight off the horde at an extraction point. Using my skills to heal and buff them. I put my stuff on the rope then they do the same and immediately go rouge. Hope they enjoy my stuff. There was nothing great there but it just solidifies my opinion that the dark zone is crap unless you are in a group. It’s a shame because it is a lot of fun taking down the landmarks. Even while playing solo.

I wonder how many games we'll see like Escape From Tarkov, really feels inspired by PUBG and the Division Dark Zone concept.
