I bought everything. I'm still having fun though. Maybe barely playing is the key? I'm still only level 25 after a couple months. No interest in DZ for the most part. I'll probably check it out but PvP doesn't really interest me anymore.

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
I deleted the game last night. I was one of the fools who bought the season pass too. I had fun with it for a week or so and lost all desire to play after that. Seems like the Dark Zone is meant to be their drawing point, but that isn't really that interesting to me.Comment

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
I dunno I just play with one other friend for an hour or two at a time. It's fun but if it's trying to be a game like borderlands or Diablo that i can sink 100s of hours into then I can see how it is a failure. I'm pretty much just logging in to shoot things with a buddy for a bit. Feels like we are doing the same thing over and over and we don't even play that much. Not much difference between guns either.Comment

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
I don't feel sorry for us, we bought into the hype because the beta was amazing. There was a core group of us that played non stop daily. We couldn't get enough.
It seemed like a solid choice going digital gold, like my friend Jare said... Never again.
Wildlands honestly looks even worst at this stage than the Division ever did. Ubi's going to continue the **** show with that game most likely. Currently it looks like an old 360 game and plays very un-GR like.
I just know it's not worth itComment

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
Those of you who still play, awesome for you. Problem for guys like me and Jare is we played hundreds of hours in a short time frame and did all there was to do and accumulated most of the best gear & weapons. Then they screwed with the game too much plus it got too repetitive.
Enjoy guys, solid game early on but not for me anymore.

Hopefully the expansions kick *** and it's not too late. Last I heard is the game lost over 80 percent of its user base already. Obviously I can't prove if that's entirely accurate or not but definitely doesn't seem like a good sign. The game was designed to be played "endlessly" that's an actual dev quote. They messed up on the endgame, plain and simple, at least that's how I feel after my hundreds of hours playing.
I don't think it's a bad game. It's a game I just wish I had bought a physical copy of and traded in when I could gotten 20+ bucks for it.
I enjoyed my time immensely in the beginning, our daily groups are a highlight of my gaming experience, but this an RPG loot game with RPG problems and loot problemsm and that's a bad combo. All just my opinion of course.
There's a still a good place chance I come back and try to give it a second windLast edited by The JareBear; 06-22-2016, 01:48 PM."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
The main reason I play is because I like the mechanics and I like building my character/optimizing him. All my gear is ending game, but I am the kind of person that likes a perfect build. Playing for 1-2 hours a night, for me, seems to offer a good balance of fun and progression.
The DZ is frustrating, which is why I am excited about the DLC giving a PVE version of the DZ in the form of the underground.
I do not really get too concerned about number of people that either playing or quitting the game. At the end of the day, the equation is pretty simple, if you like playing it, continue to play. If you are not having fun, move on to a new game. No hard feelings.
I still think the games core is solid and fun, they just need to solidify an identity of what type of game they want it to be. The PVP experience isn't that great, while collaborative game play can be awesome. I hope they focus on that.Comment
