Finally hit level 30, which is great, in time for the updates to roll out. Still need to upgrade my gear, but I'll get there.

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
I could have got to 30 last night but I spent the evening soloing the DZ at 28 instead. More accurately, a purple dropped in my first half hour and I spent the next 2.5 hours trying to extract it. I only saw one other person the whole night. It was a Dead Zone for sure.
I died so many times. All but once I was able to make it back to the spot of death and repick up my dropped purple. The one time is when I did encounter another player. He stole my drop while I respawned but by the time I got back to the extraction area he was almost dead from npc fire so I finished him off and took my **** back. I totally assumed he'd be back to cause trouble but he never showed up.
I finally got that purple out and popped the trophy for extracting my first superior or HE. Felt accomplished doing it solo but damn a group would have made that immensely easier.Last edited by Mabster; 04-09-2016, 12:06 PM.Oakland Athletics San Jose Sharks

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
Yeah, I didn't catch the name, I just saw that someone had joined and left my group while I was passed out asleep, haha.
Damn, sounds like I missed a fun time in the DZ. That would have been my phrase of choice too if I was running from people as a rogue and ended up in a dead end, haha.

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
Well I had a complete 180 experience last night from the other night when I got so destroyed. For about two hours I just mucked about in DZ01 and actually was able to kill some people (I went rogue cuz, screw it I was a man with nothing left to lose) and did a bunch of enemies without dying, I actually had some fun again! Didn't die once to anything, computer or player.
Then a group came on late and I joined them and we ran all over the place killing things and the occasional person and/or rogue without dying much. Made me have some faith in the game again. I went up from level 32 in the DZ to level 35!
I will admit I felt a bit of guilt the first time I killed a guy in DZ01. I unloaded on him and he turned around and didn't do anything, then started backing up a bit, I had reloaded and then killed him. Needless to say I think he was quite surprised. Probably because we had both just extracted and there was no real reason to kill him. Other than I needed to kill him. Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
Lmao, sounds exactly like the night me, Shando and Shak were running together. We let those two guys extract at the spot in DZ03, even though they were acting shady as **** the entire time. Then after all five of us extracted, Shak started the festivities and the three of us proceeded to massacre those two poor bastards. We didn't care about their loot, it just needed to be done, lol.
In the words of Judge Smails, "I've sentenced boys younger than you to the gas chamber. Didn't want to do it. Felt I owed it to them."
Then we destroyed those two a couple more times since they insisted on following us to DZ06 and coming after us one at a time. We must have killed those two at least 3 or 4 times each before they finally gave up and ran with their tails between their legs.Comment

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
Haha, nah, I was dead on my feet after work. Stayed awake long enough to run through Russian Consulate for fun, about an hour, 45 minutes this time. Then while waiting to see if the daily missions were going to update, fell asleep just before 9pm with controller still in hand.Comment

Hey Jare, just curious, on Russian Consulate, when you exit the library and have the four shotgun rushers at the top of the staircase heading outside, what strategy do you use against them?Comment

Than his friend came to see what happened so I killed him to lol.
But the end of the night was weird as I saw no one on our server for the last few hours which made farming easier and division tech boxes always full lol.

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
Me and my 2 other buddies were gonna extract at the DZ30 parking garage last night but someone called in an extraction right before us. When we got up there, there were 4 guys waiting to extract, so we helped them kill the AI and waited for them to approach the rope. As soon as they did, we unleashed hell on them and dropped them all, them proceeded to extract almost all the gear they had. We wound up killing one more guy, then booked it up to the DZ31 parking garage to survive or manhunt. We've yet to die in manhunt when we go up there.
Afterward, fishepa jumped in with us and we continued jumping between AI named enemies and going rogue when the opportunity arose.
We've actually been enjoying the thrill of going rogue the past week or so. It gives us a huge rush, and gives the server a jolt in the arm. I'd say we've probably survived 15-20 manhunts over the last week or so, and some of them have been incredibly intense firefights with both rogue hunters and AI.Comment

Hard for me to deem that acceptable, or at least not without them giving a heads up about it. Have they addressed it officially?Last edited by The JareBear; 04-09-2016, 04:32 PM."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
Edit:
After you clear the the first part of that courtyard (the rushers and two snipers behind them) have three of you stay back and one person run out, activate the boss, snd run back, don't leave the room with the pillars after that and you can kill Hornet without activating the whole mob behind himLast edited by The JareBear; 04-09-2016, 05:15 PM."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."
