Depends on how many are in our group. I have one friend who always runs with me, and as a two man group, we survive more than 50% of the time at least, probably higher. When our third semi consistent friend jumps in, it's at least 75% if not more. We've got a good group, as one runs crazy high skill power, ones tanky as hell, and I've focused on max armor/burst DPS.

In our experience, there's a LOT of persistent solo players that will keep coming after us which gets us to manhunt pretty quick. If a solid group comes after us, we tend to have some drawn out, intense firefights.

Other than to say they are "looking into it" they have not. Not sure there is anyone really at the helm at the moment, they had a party to celebrate the game's success when this all hit. I wouldn't expect a fix, to be honest, it's the weekend and if the game does work off of this code file then the fix would be a patch and that can't happen quickly.

Those persistent guys always crack me up, you died in 2 seconds, came back and died just as quickly, what makes you think it won't happen a third?

They HAVE to fix where you can get more than one group in the same instance and work together though, that's just some straight bull****.

Yeah, I begin to feel bad after the 3rd consecutive death. I always feel a bit of remorse before driving the butt of my gun into them to finish the job (again).

And yeah, agreed on the big groups. I was in there the other day with my group when we ran into a group of 8 just slaughtering everyone.

We jumped servers and were done with it, but it sucks when it happens.

Old fashion way and longer way is to funnel them down the stair way

              Edit:

After you clear the the first part of that courtyard (the rushers and two snipers behind them) have three of you stay back and one person run out, activate the boss, snd run back, don't leave the room with the pillars after that and you can kill Hornet without activating the whole mob behind him
Nice! That actually what we did that night we completed it in 45 minutes. Got to the stairs and one of the guys threw down a two man mobile cover right in the middle of the doorway.

Last night when I ran it with some randoms, I remembered how well that worked and actually did the same, the three guys I was with had never seen or thought of that before, they were going to do the old funnel down the stairs method until I told them about it. Worked like a charm, with all four of us in cover there, none of the four shotgun rushers ever even made it into the room with the pillars. We killed them all while they were still outside.

It also came in handy when one of us went down just outside cover while fighting the mob with Hornet, from being in cover, the guy was just far enough away to not be able to revive, so I threw out the mobile cover and sat there in the wide open reviving him behind it. So after never using it once, until the last two times I've run Russian Consulate, I'm starting to respect it now.

And I'll have to remember that trick with the mob. Depending on the skill of the randoms I'm with, sometimes it's fun fighting the whole mob, other times it can be a pain in the ***.

Is the Skillz achievement glitched or is there a certain way to unlock it? I should have had that thing unlocked weeks ago, but it never pops for me no matter what I do.

So I am sure that some people felt my posts about rogues and rogue hunting were pretty obnoxious. I always talk about "balance" and "fairness," and in the interest of keeping it real I feel I should write this.

So I got mud stomped tonight.

I hadn't been in the DZ for awhile, over a week at least, and we finally went back in and it started great. Great loot, great XP, great time with the team. Killed a couple rogues eventually, felt good. Then, as tends to happen, things shifted server wide and it went rogue crazy. Couldn't go a few minutes without new rogues popping up. Three of us ran into a 4 man rogue crew numerous times. We would down one or two but eventually be outgunned and need to retreat. Finally, at the DZ3 park extraction, we were ready to extract full packs, couple yellows, and four rogues just ran up, dropped a shock turret, and melted me. I even had my shield ultimate popped but I was downed in about 1.8 seconds. The guy that landed the kill shot was level 78 dz, I landed a sticky before I died but it barely dented them.

I thought that I was strong and well geared but I had nothing for those guys, I was like a fly and they were the windshield. I've put a lot of time into my main character but I am nowhere near those guys levels, and until they make banding together and rogue hunting worthwhile server wise, guys like that are King right now.

I tip my cap to them. It was humbling. I guess I need to work harder to improve my skills as a player and my characters strength.

The loot and XP I lost will recover. My pride and ego won't.

My favorite part of the game is rolling through the dz extracting loot with buddies, hopefully I can make some changes to hang with the elite rogues well enough to survive down the road

Just happened to us too man. Same group I run with that I detailed in my earlier post. Had a good mix of PvE and PvP going. That is until the same group of 3 became permanent rogues. All were DZ70+, and none of us could do any damage. I don't know what gear can possibly do it, but I would literally pump an entire magazine of my Vector (max crit chance at soft cap, a lot of crit dmg, and about 165k DPS) into them and do basically no damage. I honestly don't know how they did it. I saw no overheal on the health bar or anything, and they didn't pop survivor link.

We wound up just leaving the server. Absolutely nobody could kill them, and it was a matter of time till they found you.

                                Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)

Yeah, it seemed like all night, no matter what, there were always at least two groups of rogues, usually with 3-4 people each, roaming the server.

I know Shak mentioned getting destroyed by 8+ player groups all night. Me, Shando, Birdman and another from my friends list ended up forming a 7 man group with three randoms that me and Birdman ran across early in the night who invited us into party chat and were willing to team up. We for the most part just stayed up in DZ03 and 04 the whole time, where it was pretty much deserted, but there would be usually a couple rogues down in 01 and 02 feasting on the weak.

Then after everyone got off for the night, me and Birdman were trying to get him to level 50, called in an extraction, had four guys run past us into the subway and then when the helicopter came, flashbanged us and went rogue on us. Thankfully they didn't shock or straight bomb us, instead using the flash mod, so we both popped defense link in nearly the same moment and ran. The four rogues chased us, but between stirring up every NPC group we passed while running, plus eventually getting far enough ahead to be out of sight for at least 5-10 seconds after turning a corner, we were able to lose them after splitting into two different directions and sprinting through alleys. Ran to a checkpoint in 03 and called it a night. We had nothing but purple junk we were just extracting to turn into materials, so we just said screw it and left the DZ without extracting it.

And now, thinking of it, we may have made the right call. Even as a 7 man group, when we'd come across another player, we'd check his level, and usually anyone level 70+, we turned and went the other way instead of going rogue on the guy. We thought it was funny at the time, 7 on 1 and we weren't willing to attack people just because they were levels 60s or 70s, but reading these last two posts, it was probably a good idea! That one guy may very well have wiped us. Maybe not all of us, but at least some of us.

Hell, there was one guy we attacked and went rogue on, even 7 on 1, we couldn't kill the bastard! We got him down to almost dead a few times, but he would aways manage to recover his health before we could finish him. Chased him for a couple minutes and over the course of probably 3 DZ zones, only to say to hell with it after failing to finish him off for like the 10th time.
