The dailies reset at 8pm Eastern, right? I ran Russian Consulate with some randoms again for old times sake, had a lot of laughs as one was a Brit and plenty of jokes (and Russian/rushing jokes) along the way.

But now that I'm back at the BoO, it's not showing any daily missions for me. I don't know if I need to completely dashboard out and reboot the game, or if the dailies just aren't available yet. The vendors have all updated, so it should have all reset already.

I really wish they wouldn't cap damage on skills. If someone wants to invest into a skill build their damage should continue to go up regardless. Gin damage isn't capped so the skills shouldn't be either. Not like you can fire off those skills non stop.

If you miss you ate in trouble and if you gear for skill than odds are your gun damage or stamina will be lower.

I can see capping somethings like crit chance or explosion radius but damage should not be capped as it just like saying well there is no point to go higher is skill so go firearms and stamina like everyone else.

I mean at the same time they should just cap health and gun damage and everyone can have the same build. No reason for variety.

So with a cap damage it means adding skill does next to nothing which means that the skill set gear will be pointless as it won't add anything. Except maybe cool down.

I've got the same issue. No Dailies on my map for me either. Which sucks, Wife is out tonight, Was hoping to clear them out this evening since I'm too busy tomorrow. Got to go buy myself a new Jeep

Tonight was the perfect night for the XB1 to W10 streaming option. Fire up the Blue Jays home opener on the TV, stream the XB1 to my laptop and play. No dailies, so I just farmed some supplies with my 30 character, then played a few side missions and such with my new character I'm leveling up.

Not sure what's going on, but I want my dailies!

Previously, I was around 175k DPS with my Vector (157k or so with my MP5 with same attachments, which I prefer), 60k health, 11k skill power, and only enough armor to mitigate 47% of damage. I was curious how I was dying so fast, and I saw a post on the front page of reddit about how useful it is to get your armor near the max mitigation (65%).

After the changes, I'm sitting at 150k or so DPS with my Vector with enough crit chance left over to be at the crit chance cap with the tactical scan, 70k health, 12.5k skill power, and 62% damage mitigation through armor. I'm curious to see how this fares in the DZ. I'm fine with a full group when it comes to survivability, but when in groups of 2-3 or solo, I saw myself going down pretty easily if I didn't get the drop on the enemy. I'm hoping that the difference was primarily in my lack of armor beforehand.

I was able to do plenty damage to enemy agents with both the Vector and MP5 beforehand, so I'm hoping that dropping nearly 25k in DPS won't be too detrimental. I guess we shall see. I probably should have just waited for the patch to hit considering gear sets and all, but I don't know how soon I'll be getting into incursions, as you guys are usually all filled up group wise from here, and the guys I play with all play at different times except on weekends. That, and Souls coming out on Tuesday will put a big dent in my play time.
Nice DPS bro. That build sounds solid. Glad u like that mp5. For some reason it never has the advertised DPS as my other weapons but it melts thing everything way faster than my other guns,

Actually ventured over to reddit after posting that and sure enough right near the top they had a post complaining about skill build and mainly that new set.

Reading through it and seeing how people operate with skill builds it pretty much goes down to limiting what a skill player is used for. Crowd control and booster shot don't benefit from skill power so those two skills are good for your dps users as they toss out either flash bang or gas bomb at the beginning and having the damage boost from the healing.

And since the damage skills top out it makes them less useful versus smart cover and pulse since you can run damage up insanely high with that set up it makes those other damaging skills useless.

Granted I do want to try the sick turrent and get some rogues after me and drop it around a corner so when they come around they get frozen with shock lol.

YeAh I was talking to Bolt about this two nights ago. My reasoning for staying with a skill power/health build is that with my capped pulse and capped Smart Cover I'm doing about as much dps as I possibly can and I still have flexibility to switch to full support/heals on the fly if need be

Well, I'm glad to know I wasn't the only one! I was wiped after work tonight so I fell asleep by 9pm, which works because I had to be up at 2:30am here for more work, so I have no clue what's going on. But I was just worried something had become glitched on me or something.

Yeah there's a big thread about it on Reddit, I haven't heard official word from ubi massive about it tho

Alright, hopefully we find out something. I need some Phoenix Credits! In the mean time, I guess I can run a cycle later today on the challenging missions myself to at least get some PC.

Oh yeah, and apologies to ODogg, Shak, Birdman, Shando or anyone else who may have tried to join or invite me last night on Xbox One. After I got done running Russian Consulate again for the fun of it, I was waiting to see if the daily missions would update at the top of the 9pm hour, only to end up falling asleep on the couch, lol.

I was already wiped after work ye sterday, and between fighting through Russian Consulate for two hours and then scarfing down some dinner, it was 8:50 last I saw on the clock, and next thing I know, I was waking up at 11pm with my character still standing on the street outside the BoO and my controller still in hand. Since I had to be up for work at 2:30am, I just shut everything down and went back to sleep for a couple more hours before work.

I should however be around tonight. By the time I get home from work on Saturdays, just being up at 2:30am alone is enough to make me tired as hell after work, so my Saturdays are largely spent sleeping the entire afternoon, leaving me wide awake and ready for gaming during the evening and overnight hours.

No problem. I ran with Afew friends last night and other than the DZ Currency and XP I gained that was the worst run I've had in the DZ. No HE drops and nothing too exciting. We did get into a shootout with about 12 agents when a group of four went rogue. Mopped the floor with the first three, the last one took off only to have about 8 or 9 of us chase him all the way to DZ04 where he ran into a dead end. We heard him on the proximity say "Aahh S***."

Yeah, I didn't catch the name, I just saw that someone had joined and left my group while I was passed out asleep, haha.

Damn, sounds like I missed a fun time in the DZ. That would have been my phrase of choice too if I was running from people as a rogue and ended up in a dead end, haha.

Finally made it to Lvl 30 last night...what a grind but I am still hooked. I am hoping to get into the DZ tonight.

The Socom rifle is a game changer for me. I haven't died in quite some time since I have been able to control the missions with distance. However, I still like to get in close and mix it up a bit.

Oh yeah, and Hornet is such a teasing bastard. After running through Russian Consulate last night, Hornet dropped a high end item for me, first time getting a high end from him. I was eagerly hoping to see M1A listed. Nope, a bloody Scar-L. Facepalm.

Just for that, I'm going back through Russian Consulate again today and I'm gonna punch Hornet in the face before we kill him.
