Having an argument with my buddy about what "Winter 2014" means. I say they mean it'll be out in 18 months or so, he says 6 or so. What do you guys think?

yeah, well theres more winter 2014 in 6 months than in 18 months, so if we are talking odds, id go with this coming Jan/Feb. I dont know how the industry works, but if they are still close to 2 years away from releasing, i dont think they would have had what they had at e3, seems more logical to me 6-8 months from now the game will come out.

Ubi showed Watch Dogs last year and its not out until this November, I'd put the same timeframe on The Division.

Winter 2014 usually would mean Nov-Dec of 2014, or they could have said Holiday 2014. when it comes to games, if it was coming out Jan-Mar they would have likely said it was coming out Q1 of 2014.

After watching the gameplay for the first time: Holy ****! Ubisoft is coming out with some nice stuff; I'm really excited about the possibilities with this game.

I dont think so. I'll I've heard is that it's confirmed to be a next gen game
