In all the footage I've seen it looks like free aim, doesn't look like there's an aim assist. If there is, then either it's very weak or the people playing are just really bad at aiming lol.

The alpha had aim assist against AI. Not sure about PvP. The alpha on XB1 did not look nearly as good as the trailer or other videos shown.

I'm going to preorder it soon for PS4, definitely a day one pick up based on the impressions from OS'ers and people outside this community who played the alpha awhile back.

Rumor has it the beta is final week or weekend of January, though Ubisoft has only said "early 2016" so it wouldn't surprise me if the beta wasn't until February. Let's hope the release date stays put, less than 60 days out.
