Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
Any tips for a solo player that can help
Unlock the dlc I paid for? This is the dumbest thing ive seen in gaming. I get to Lvl 28. Then it's pretty much impossible to solo the quarantine center mission because guys just keep spawn in front then in back of you. So you can never get an advantage cover wise on them. Literally just want to play underground and they make you jump through hoops. On top of that I can't find a way to even do this specific mission with randoms.Comment

Bring up the map and press y. I think that's the matchmake button. It says up in the top left corner.

I'm kind of with everyone else here though... I couldn't stop playing this at launch and sunk in about 30 hours in two weeks which is a lot for me. Then, suddenly, I had no desire to keep playing. It just all felt the same. I'm honestly not too bothered by it considering how much I played, and I'll definitely mess around with it more down the road. It didn't end up fully living up to my own hype, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't get some solid enjoyment out of it either.Comment

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
Tried out 1.3 before work on the PS4. Unless I am missing something it is not going to be good until underground in August. I saw my weapons/armor got screwed. My DPS on my Aug dropped about 50k. They nerfed sentry and striker reducing the three piece striker bonus on crit damage from 50% to 20%. I didn't see any of the increased armor or weapons or the new weapons.
Tried out the heroic level difficulty on Lexington Center. I didn't notice any real difference from Challenging. I joined a group of three others where we were all over 215 gear score and it was no problem to roll over the enemies. You can use the same strategies. It just takes a little more firepower. Even the drops on the heroic were max 204. Granted I got a new ak which is good since it will have the armor shredding.
Seems like until Underground hits the only real purpose will be to hit the dark zone and try to accumulate sealed crates and wait until underground before opening them and hope that they then contain the new armor/weapons.Comment

There's no way to guarantee you get in a match doing the quarantine mission though that I can find.Comment

I would have expected about a 3/10 at best from you based on the "epic failure" comment. Lol.

I'm not sure what mission you're referring to. I can try and assist you though if I catch you online. I may have a bit of time after work tonight. What's your gt? Or do I already have it? I'm on X1, but I don't have the DLC though, so if it's a specific mission that's part of the DLC, I can't help obviously. If it's a regular mission you're struggling with I can help out.Miami Dolphins - Detroit Red Wings - Toronto Blue Jays - Michigan Wolverines - CANADAComment

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
Shame to see so many people disappointed with The Division but I think that in a year from now, it will be the opposite. Destiny had a lot of problems as well during it's first year and im expecting The Division to be the same.
For me personally, my complaints were...
- No crouch button.
- Bad story / characters which is a real shame because the atmosphere and immersion of being in Manhattan is awesome.
- Brooklyn being almost non-existent and thus far, no other boroughs announced.
Overall though as a lone wolf single player game, The Division was easily a 9/10 for me. The gameplay, gunplay, cover system, etc. and gameplay loop is what kept me playing this game for 120 hours and completing it 100% in the process.
Can't comment on the multi-player aspects since I only played the Dark Zone during the Beta and as majority here know, im a pure single player gamer so this aspect meant nothing to me but at the same time, considering that The Division is an MMORPG, I can understand why a lot of those who were/are playing the game are disappointed and in some cases, probably pissed off.Comment

Yeah it's the "secure quarantine" mission that you have to beat before even being able to access dlc you bought. I gave it a few shots solo last night. Didn't go well.Comment

Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)
Ohh... Sorry, maybe I can't help then as I haven't purchased the DLC, and I'm not sure I want to sink another $15 into this. I'm still enjoying playing it, I'm just not sure I see a reason to sink another $15 into it at this point. Or, is this the "mission" where you're in the middle of a street, and a building explodes, and then enemies keep popping up in the street, then it sends you to the terminal and down the stairs to access the DLC? I had no idea what that was, I was just randomly running down a street to collect some materials and all hell broke loose. Sounds like this may be what you're referring to as one group would spawn to my left, then as I was almost done with them another from my right.
I was hoping to see some feedback here on the DLC and if it's worth it, but nothing here as of yet it seems.
Myself though, I still haven't even beaten the two previous incursions or whatever you want to call them. I tried when Falcon Lost came out, by my character was nowhere near capable of surviving. With the gear I have now, I'm probably good to go. I've been stuck studying the last several weeks for a exam I wrote yesterday, so I've got some time to get back in and will have to check them out.Miami Dolphins - Detroit Red Wings - Toronto Blue Jays - Michigan Wolverines - CANADAComment

I see it's not on the map either. So im not sure you could group up on it. Unless it triggers while matchmaking and just free roaming with a group. I dont know if it was on the map to begin with though, like I said, for me, it just randomly happened. I had no idea what the heck was going on lolMiami Dolphins - Detroit Red Wings - Toronto Blue Jays - Michigan Wolverines - CANADAComment
