I got lucky and just kept spamming joining group until I found a group in the mission. Was able to easily do it when two others. Hoping to have time to check out underground tomorrow.

Yeah it's the "secure quarantine" mission that you have to beat before even being able to access dlc you bought. I gave it a few shots solo last night. Didn't go well.

Really? I solo'd that one pretty easily. I didn't think it was that difficult and I am not one of the super leveled up players.

NPCs are crazy in the DZ after the PS4 update...........I like it.

So after the PS4 1.3 update, I like the heroic missions although the Lexington Center is still a joke if you have a ground who has half a clue. Finally got my first 226 weapon on a HVT mission and a couple of the new weapons in 204. Picked up a couple of pieces of the Alpha Bridge armor and spent at least 40 minutes trying to figure out a new armor set since the one I had finally gotten good before the update no longer is as viable. That is still a work in progress. I think I ended up with the three pieces of Alpha Bridge, two tactical and one I cannot remember. Will have to work on it since without the two pieces of final measure I lose the 50% exotic damage protection which is needed given the all the grenades the AI major league pitchers throw....

A good part of the new update is that if you join a group and start a mission they cannot drop you and f-ck you over before you get the boss drop.

Will have to try out the 231 DZ tonight. Even though my gear score is 218 I apparently have enough 240's to get in the higher zone. Worst comes to worst I can have my alternate character "Mule" take on the 240's.

Yeah. I tried it a couple times at Lvl 28. Guys just kept spawning all around me. Didn't really want to waste too much time with it. Just wanted to play the dlc I bought and was already aggravated about having to get to Lvl 28 then do another mission just to get to my paid content.

Is a 198 gear score high enough for heroics? I really want a shot at am AA12 but I don't wanna get stomped.

Having fun with this again since the update. My main weapon is now the 204 score M870 for sale at the UG vendor. Got the 3 piece Lone Star set going from just doing HVTs this morning. Still running with my old MP5 from before the crit chance SMG nerf as well.

I ran Lexington Heroic with a 198 earlier today, so it's doable. I would just make sure the other people in the group have a decent GS. If you need help, let me know. I run a few times a day because it is a great PxC farm.

I am curious about this as well. My gear score sits at 195 IIRC. Really liking the new content.

How is this any different than Destiny requiring a certain level for Nightfall or Raids? DLC is in this type of game is usually focused on end game to keep the progression going. I am not sure why you would expect the new content to scale backwards. Going from 28 to 30 isn't that big of a leap, if you need help finishing some missions, just let me know and I will help.

What system are you playing on? If you're on XB1 I can help you level up and clear this mission.

Don't play destiny so I'm not concerned with that. I prefer the way borderlands does it. You are not locked out of any dlc at any time and the loot and enemies level scale to you.

Thanks man. I am on Xbox one. I got through the mission though. Just don't have a ton of time to play this time of year so it was frustrating not being able to immediately use the content.

Yeah man, I'd love to run it a few times if you don't mind. I never even ran it on challenging, but I imagine the strategy is similar to Lincoln Tunnel.

Maybe tomorrow night after like 830est if you have room? If you have a full group don't worry about it.

So last night I did the highest priced high value weekly target with the thoughts of getting a 268 armor piece and 229 weapon. We go do the mission. The boss finally spawns and then another boss spawns, another and finally a fourth. You would think holy sh-t what a great glitch to get four new high level armor pieces. Takes a while but we kill them all off. Like a kid at Christmas I go to pick up my stuff. Two 229 weapons. Not the best ones but ok. Get my armor pieces and three are Lone Star. Well that s-cked. But you could look on the bright side and say well at least you have three new 268 armor pieces to really get that useless gear score up but no. Even when Massive glitches they still f-ck you. All three Lone Star pieces were masks.

I looked around but I did not see the Grinch. Had I seen him I would have fragged him....
