This game knows how to push my buttons, man.

I've spent, today, all told, probably three hours looking for a Buffalo (Franklin's car from the campaign). NOTHING. THEY ARE NOWHERE APPARENTLY. So finally I settle for this other four door (I'm looking for a crew getaway car) that has decent top end speed. I mod it, bring it back to my garage, dick around in my apartment for a bit and guess what's staring right at me as I leave my apartment?

    A ****ing Buffalo.

I swear these GTA games know when you're looking for a certain car.... they don't show up until after you stop looking for them.

You led our team in kills a few times if I remember right.

The key to that Boneyard level is to chill on that roof for waves 1-3, get into the building for wave 4 because helicopter, back out on the roof for 5 and 6, double helicopters in 7 so in the building, roof again for 8 and 9, building again for 10 because more helicopters.

Not that it doesn't sometimes go haywire, but that seems to be a decent blueprint.

Love that you get to keep your weapons coming out of survivor. Was sitting at a gas station that you can't rob talking to my wife after a session of it. Guy comes up and starts shooting at me with a hand gun. I jump out with my combat machine gun, and kill him quickly. Stick around because I know he will be coming back. See his blip fast approaching me, so I switch to the RPG, right as his car comes over the hill, I hit him with it. Kill him again. He no longer seems to want to mess with me as after he respawns he quickly goes the opposite direction.

Played with fatleg for a bit, just ****ing around. Then joined a game with Dayman...and just picture this:

I'm in super short shorts, socks/sandals, no shirt, and a bandana with sunglasses.

I create a huge pile of cars (about six) in the middle of the street by just hitting one after another with the nightstick to get people to get out and run away.

Then, as Dayman, ImTellinTim, and KramerKing5150 are talking about something, I yell "RUN!!!!!!!" and everything explodes behind me and I drive away

I stay on the roof until wave 10. It's much easier when everyone has heavy artillery and we can just shoot the helicopters down. For wave ten I just sit in the building with my mini gun and blow it to pieces.

Everyone is going to play that mode differently and boneyard is the level where everyone should be able to get to wave 9 or 10 easily. Easy 20k. Work can't end soon enough.

Re: Grand Theft Auto V Online

Had a good time finally getting in on some of the Survival action with HustlinOwl, fatleg, among others. (still just at level 10, so this was my first experience with Survival). Had a rough first round at the Rail Yard, then got through waves 7 and 8 in the next two rounds. Very fun mode, great to play with some OSers.

Also, regarding that Simeon mission of chasing down the Croquette and the other car: I've done that one 3 times now (I got the call on my phone once, and then I have two other friends who invited me to theirs when they got it). One thing I've found is that, when you first get to the car, if you don't instantly try to shoot them or run into them, they'll typically behave like a "usual" AI car (stopping at stop lights, etc.). So, the last two times, what I've done, is I just pull up right in front of their car when I get to it (but don't hit them), get out of my car, line up a headshot with the pistol, and BAM. Guy is dead, car is in great shape, no having to chase him down and run him off the road.

Has worked great the last 2 times we've run the mission.

I need to tell my self the same!

I like that money is an actual important part to this game. You really have be to on your grind!

I spend SO much money on ammo its ridiculous! Last night I had 13k then realized I'd spent 12k on ammo from just free mode, no missions = no money!

We have a 360 thread and I know this one is for both consoles but I will say this...

Running with our regulars on the 360 is by far the most fun I've ever had online to date. Any console, any genre, this game sits atop all of the past experiences I've ever had with OSers.

I don't know what it is about playing with randoms, but the majority of them (for any game honestly) run around like headless chickens.

The few missions I've had that was full of randoms who were decent players made this game very enjoyable for me. Not being worried about being killed after a mission and losing all your winnings is always good.

Here's a tip with randoms.. If you finish a mission, and you get to the new game selection screen, do not choose Free Play. If you choose that, you and everyone else that chooses that spawn at the same spot. If you press B and just quit the match, it will take you back to the original location before you started the mission.

This game is the worst online with randoms. Last night I finally found one of the rare cars(bike) for Simeon and this guy jacks me for it. I end up getting it back after he kills himself riding, but then he just waits by the dock to pop me in the head and steal my money. So I took his ride up the mountains full speed and watched it roll!

You could still drive it, so I didn't get charge by his insurance.

I got a chance to team up with a random for a Madrazo mission that was so easy! $9000 to kill a Lawyer and retrieve the evidence. Hardest part was just navigating to get to Madrazo's house! I think we replayed this mission 4 times before we stop. Probably should have done it a few more times.
