Picking this up after work because of the feedback on here. I went to GameStop after work yesterday at like 8pm to get it and it was all sold out, took that as another good sign. Really excited, did it take forever to install on PS4?

Anyone know if the 360 version will have a co-op mode?

            Re: Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor

Been playing for four hours today and I have a question -

After killing two enemies that gave me a rune each, I died and wasn't able to get the rune's. Still playing and can't find the rune's.

Did I lose those two rune's? Thanks.

Overall, enjoying the game. But not a fan of the constant re-spawning enemies. I can see why people think the game would get repetitive in regards to the fighting.

How does everyone rate the difficulty? I just watched a review on youtube that stated the game was entirely too easy, and there's no difficulty select in the menu. I want to pick this up, but if it isn't challenging enough I'll have to pass on it.

I am getting killed often enough.

But, I am not the stealth type. I look for large groups of Orcs and just let them surround me.

I've yet to die. I think it all depends on the situations you put yourself into in the game. Overall though if you found Batman Arkham series fighting easy, or hard, it will be roughly that difficult though IMHO it's a bit easier. Enemies don't attack quite as often as in the Arkham series so defense / countering is a bit easier. Roughly that difficulty though.

                            Re: Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor

I have died three times due to being badly outnumbered. I tried to run away twice but the camera doesn't rotate behind the character when running. You have to manually control it yourself. That kills me.

Thus far, I think the overall difficulty is just right and love games that have no difficulty levels because to me, difficulty levels don't make the game harder, it makes the game cheap.

Higher difficulty levels just means that you take more damage while your opponents take less damage which in turn makes the game harder because it takes you longer to defeat enemies. I hate that.

Love that there's no difficulty level in Mordor. In my opinion, no game should have a difficulty level. Instead, games should get harder as you progress throughout the game with the final boss being a pain in the *** but not impossible. Should also be based on your abilities, etc.

The biggest problem I have with Mordor is the camera and controls. Camera aggravates and frustrates me at times especially when trying to run away if im badly outnumbered. Controls are too loose. Needed to be tighter and wish the button configuration was editable.

Thus far though, definitely not a perfect game (no game was, is or ever will be perfect) as there's also a few other minor negatives that I can't remember since im taking a short break to eat dinner but it's in the 8-9 range for me and im definitely looking forward to completing it 100%.

It is something you unlock later on in the game.
