I'm liking the way this looks. Between this The Witcher; Dragon Age; Elder Scrolls; Fable Legends I going to have plenty of these types of games to last for two years.

So, why not just wraith-face Orthog? And everybody else for that matter?

Kind of a Ghost Rider thing in a cool way. I guess maybe it doesn't work on really strong enemies? Game would be too easy then.

Plus there is a precedent; Aragorn was able to stave off four or five wraiths by himself at Weathertop.

They probably have to be vulnerable to it, I would guess based on level like most other control magics in RPGs. It also seems you have to have them in a defeat state, so at that point it wouldn't do you much good to control Orthog since he's the highest ranking leader in the area. Also looks to be contextual for named leaders, not every random enemy.

I like the premise of this game and what you can do. The mechanics and even the graphics. I just don't understand why so many games are always creating crazy morbid dark world games with this technology all of the time.

That is what sells but they create other games nor dark and morbid too, look at the Lego games...

Yeah those are both extremes. I just happen to see a ton of games coming out with these kinds of themes for some reason. It's almost like these companies aren't necessarily creative anymore they just follow the wind

I posted this in the anticipated game thread but this Mod was going to be great for Skyrim:

After watching the videos I am onboard. Was hoping there would be some weapon crafting and looting,.didn't see anything about that.

The game itself looks great. It's not really in line with Tolkien lore (at all actually), but I'm sure it'll sell like crazy.

I was hoping to hear something about those as well, wondering if the armor changes a little bit or your whole look changes. Same thing with weapons.

                            Things I like:

                            -personality system
                            -Mordor
-So far no ******* stupid generic fantasy magic. I hate magic in Middle Earth games. If it isn't Gandalf, Sauron or Saruman, I don't want to see magic.

                            Things I don't like:
                            -Wraith-human thing
-Assassins Creed set in Middle Earth

Just make Battle for Middle Earth 3, by which I mean copy paste Battle For Middle Earth mechanics, and maps. Add War of the Ring. Add maps to the Rhovanion, Eriador, South Gondor, Mordor and Near Harad. Minas Morgul and Minas Tirith should have three provinces between them, with Osgilioth being the middle.

Keep the classical factions, but create sub-factions. Example: Mordor can be divided between Orcs, Men of Rhun and Haradrim. Isengard can divide between Uruk-hai, and Dunlanders, Men are divided between Gondor, Rohan and some faction in Eriador. Elves must at least have an independent Mirkwood. No dwarves. They never felt right. Also, no Goblin/Wild faction.

There is a new trailer out over at IGN, doesn't really show much of anything. Except that the graphics aren't on par, which isn't a good thing when it is releasing around the same time Arkham Knight is.
