That was awesome mike. I think that's me hiding in cover as you did that. That was great match too.

Another great 6-7 hour MP session today. Our 5 man group filled up fast.

Most games were great. About 3 times we ran into a group of guys who were just on another level.

For those like me who aren't the best on the sticks, I suggest going with the medic savior as a sidekick (I use mod that increases his ammo output and gear recharge buff) and the staff that pulses the map. The support points from the medic and the assists you get from the pulse while its up can help greatly make up for lack of kills or downs

Played about 3 hours of the MP today and had a blast. The FAL and Mettler are my go to weapons right now and I've been running with a grenade and that one stone that revives teammates to full health. I'm hoping this MP has a long life since this is the most fun I've had playing a MP game in a while.

I was able to get matched into tons of games on Uncharted 3 just last month, so I expect this MP to have a pretty strong community as well.

Mikenoob, that was phenomenal! This may have sold me 100 on this. Was trying to wait until next month, but I don't see that happening now.

Can't get over how well the game is and how good the story is on top of it. Makes you feel involved and is the best uncharted ever.

I'm enjoying multipler except why did the decide a grappling hook is stronger in CQB than an ak47? Its bizarre to watch people run through 7.62 rounds to hit you with a grappling hook for a one hit kill.

                    Re: UNCHARTED 4: A Thief’s End

I love, love, love the multiplayer. It's fun, addictive and set up where k/d ratio doesn't really matter. I love how you join a room and don't know how anyone else stacks up against you. No rankings, no k/d next to their name, just their name.

The maps are brilliantly laid out, lots of short cuts and passages to get from one side to the other. Even seen a few maps with dynamic weather where it'll start raining half way through the game. Completely hooked on Plunder. It's a great twist on the capture the flag game type. It's nice how the person holding the idol moves slower but can throw the idol. If you have a good team, you can almost toss it to one another the whole way back to your treasure chest.

I really need to play more single player, there's just a ton of content here. And seeing they are supporting MP with free maps/updates for basically the next year makes me very excited.

You, Me, thegut, Hoos, mikenoob, geedup, CBRd, vtechfan over the course of that long session we had. Amazing fun.

Yea I think out of the dozens upon dozens of matches we had last night there were about 3 or 4 times where we were absolutely crushed.

Almost reminded of the old BF4 days in that our party was always full and when people dropped we had guys ready to fill that spot.

I'm so close to opening up the first Hero AK available. It's gonna take a ton of drops to open them all up.

I opened up that final mod on the AK that reduces (practically removes) recoil. It's a must for those of you who have troubles hitting your targets.

So many options within options in multi player it's impressive. You can mod weapons (1 mod only at a time it seems), or buy Hero versions of weapons with two mods attached. You can mod sidekicks, have multiple custom loadouts.

You wanna get off the radar and run around you say? Start maxing out your stealth to level 3 and work on your weapon downs to open up the suppressor. Using the suppressor in combo with stealth finds you often flanking guys who are unaware of you.

Another tip, you don't have to be a killing machine but downs are important. It takes downs to unlock the mods for your chosen weapon. I've unlocked them all on the AK and there's quite a variety of choices. There's a reason the recoil one is last to unlock is all I'll say.

The multi player in this is going to hold me off nicely for a while.

Those of you giving mp a shot who aren't big on mp shooters, don't let getting crushed deter you. Make sure to adjust your settings so they're good for you. Learn all the loadouts and abilities. There are other ways to contribute, not necessarily like on an overwatch level but close.

Just got to chapter 9, then I went to bed. Man, this game is delivering on all the right notes.

Thank goodness I am not going into my office tomorrow. I will be spending the day with the Drake brothers, and maybe some multi-player from all the great impressions of it in here. So glad that K/D is not a focus. Ruins team-play in games.

                          Well said Bolt!

I'd also like to chime in and say that it's a good idea for people to run the Trials in the MP menu. It's an effective way to learn your gear, buddies and the mysticals. Plus you earn the purple tokens for completing each one which you can use to purchase stuff.

Don't be mistaken, there is a kd stat and Downs & KOs and killed are kept track of and important. They accumulate your score on a combo of factors, but getting Downs and or KOs are a big factor in your score.

Almost every time and without fail, the top three scorers on the winning side had the most Downs & KOs (they are two separate stats). You can def help in other ways and have an impact tho.

You can check leaderboards amongst your friends and whatnot to see the value of certain stats.

In the sense that there's no kd next to the players name when starting the match, yea that's cool. There or not, it wouldn't have concerned me either way. There is also no rank next to a player, in fact there isn't a leveling system in place that I noticed.

You'll know when you come across killers, they roam in packs and come from every angle and will wipe your squad fast & easy. They just don't have a rank or kd next to their name when the match starts to let you know they're coming.

You get 100 pts for a down and only 25 or 50 for a KO. You get more points for doing other stuff. I only had 1 KO last night and still had the most points on my team.
