Well.. I bought this game yesterday and just now decided while in BB grabbing DeadPool and Spectre movies that the Collections at 15.99 was too good to pass up.
Just adds to the backlog but screw it.
I'm off work until Thursday so I have plenty to play I guess

Can't wait to dig into this installment.

I must be missing something. I can get into photo mode but for the life of me cant figure out how to actually take the picture. What am I missing? Nowhere on screen does it tell me, nowhere in the control options does it tell me, I feel like this has to be something Im completely missing somehow.

Ahh lol I thought there was something completely internal so it was all within the game and outside of the whole share feature. Thanks for the heads up, I assumed incorrectly obviously.

Yeah, the share/photo/video capture is all on the SDK/OS level with the PS4. I did the same thing before when photomode was introduced to The Order. I was like, 'wait a second, oh yeah, share button', lol.

The actual 'photomodes' are, I assume, a shared platform which others write their own code into for their game and build upon with their own features.

It's an amazingly fun game, and to think I haven't even touched the single player yet. I'm having way too good a time playing multi-player right now. So many more things to work towards.

I'm sure the story's going to be great when I play it. No desire to right now though.

Dude its so much fun. Totally worth every cent you spend on it. The best uncharted yet... the climbing is pretty smoothed out and even the shaky hit detection from older Uncharted games feel so much better.

After Ratchet and Clank now this game, i've been enjoying gaming so much

Played one MP before heading to workout. Lost and got my butt kicked, but damn it was fun. Definitely will be playing more of this.

Just finished the game and it was awesome. This was a good note to go out on and I really enjoyed it. Now I'll play the multiplayer for a while and then go back to the story later on.

Completed the game in just over 27 hours on hard last night.

Great game, enjoyed U4 a lot more than U3 but not sure if I could put it tied or ahead of U2 for the below reasons (spoilers) -

Spoiler

- I enjoyed every chapter up until around 19 or 20. Basically, up to the part where you escape that second tank, Sully saves you and then attempt to leave until a crappy lame separation between everyone and Sam. Sam leaves and of course, you go chasing after him. To me, this felt forced just so you can get to the end battle with Rafe. No turns at all, lame, boring dull and predictable happy ending.

- Gameplay is excellent when it comes to the climbing, plat-forming and driving but gunplay, controls and cover system is all clunky as hell. Granted, better than the previous Uncharted games but as someone who's coming from The Division, all of this feels off.

- Nadine??? Excellent character and misused/underused and just leaves at the end??? What the hell is that crap? At least have Rafe do something to hurt or kill her. Or Sam. Something. But instead, nothing happens.

- The constant companion(s). Sorry but the partner AI was bad and just like in The Last of Us, completely invisible to enemies. To me, if this can't be done correctly, there's no reason for it to be there. Also, aside from the ten or so times the companion snapped an enemy's neck, they were useless and always in the way. Not to mention the fact that I shouldn't be playing with another character. I can see a chapter here and there but not the entire game.

- Not enough action sequences. There were a few minor sequences here and there and the one awesome one which was insane but needed another awesome action sequence. To me, after the characters, that's pretty much what Uncharted was and it was a letdown that there was only one major action sequence. With that said, the enemy encounters being longer but fewer and far between was a positive.

- Visually, best looking game this gen. Music, sound and voice acting was also top notch to me as well.

- Driving the jeep was great and felt responsive and fluid. The swimming early on in the game was great and I was disappointed that there wasn't a swimming chapter. Game should have had one.

- Love all the characters. Great bad guy in Rafe (who's voiced by the FBI agent Stahl in the TV show Shades of Blue with Jennifer Lopez and Ray Liotta) but the boss fight felt forced and I didn't mind the sword fighting. The problem was the damn camera. It needed to be zoomed out more.

- The flashback chapters were great as well especially the second one because of the story elements.

- The puzzles were good but too damn easy.

- Overall, a 9/10 in my opinion and it could have been a 9.5/10 but the last three chapters and the lame happy ending was a disappointment to me and felt forced.

With all of that said, Uncharted 4 will still most likely end up being my game of the year unless something else in the second half blows me away.

Game is incredible but I really hate gun battles for the simple fact that it takes wayyy too many shots to down an enemy. After you hit them there is like a half a second where they are invulnerable and you have to wait before shooting them again. Frustrating stuff.

I love this series. I really hope this isn't the last. And if it is, I'm sure Naught Dog will continue writing and creating other amazing games.

If those guys aren't behind any movies of this series, it's a failure on Hollywood.

If its the last Uncharted, Im praying and pleading in hopes of a full ND team working on more Last of Us. Maybe not Joel and Ellie, but something.

As I'm playing the campaign, which is amazing so far, I keep thinking how awesome a sequel to TLOU would be with this kind of technology.

I'm still early in the game but loving the first 6 chapters so far.
