Can any of you confirm the optimatch bug?

I just read in a review that going to optimatch on XBL will completely freeze your game.

I had to download a patch last night when logging on.

I did an optimatch search, no freeze.

I'm assuming that it fixed the problem, but I can't guarantee it. I know I did several optimatch joins, and no freezes.

Post more multiplayer stuff TC. I'm leaving in 2 1/2 hours and going to pick it up. Don't leave me in suspense!! Are the controls the same as last year?? Can you switch between 3rd and 1st person views??

Controls for single player are the same as last year. But the multiplayer controls are modified, not a huge difference, but different none the less.

Only the spies are in 3rd person like the single player game, the mercs are only in 1st person, reminds me of Rainbow Six 3.

Steve, I can tell you this, your first 10-15 games will feel very weird, and you will be disoriented. It's just different and something you have to just play to get the feel of. Once you get it down, it's like pure bliss. The game is so fluid. But your first few games, if you are a spy, you will not win unless the Mercs are just awful. My advice, play with 3 other people you know, that way you can play some trial and error and get a feel of the game. This is one that's hard to master, but once you do it's like gaming crack.
