Not to mention split screen with spies and mercenaries would defeat the whole purpose. Why worry about stealth if you can just look at the upper half of the screen and get a lock on the spy's position?

Wouldn't make sense any other way. Even system link is questionable, as same-room players tend to let their eyes wander

    Live or nothing, baby.

Maybe I'm scared easily, and being able to see my adversary would help prevent the fright ... Has anyone seen for a fact that you can do system link with the game? A few of my friends have TV's in back to back rooms, allowing to have seperate teams without risk of wandering eyes(which allows for some great Halo matches)... maybe I could convince one of them to buy the game too.

      It's there.
On the back of the case it clearly says System Link 2-4 players. I remember seeing the option while starting up the game.

                  Bout time SoMiss.

And as far as System Link: when you go online, it gives you 2 options to even GET there...Networked (XBox Live) and System Link.

So yes, it's there for certain.

Got the game yesterday. Just got online with it an hour ago. Best live experience I've had, only played two games. But those two alone were worth the $50.
