My only journey milestones left are warps, so I'm probably going to start moving from system to system more often, checking for the only resource I've yet to find omegon. Currently on a planet with random to I filled a spot in my hold with it.

On ship upgrades, I have them all. I could dismantle some, but I am in no way hurting for space.

Just saw this shot from Star Citizen tonight, could you imagine a spiritual successor to NMS but looking like this in a gen or two? Do want.

At this pace, NMS 2 would be out before Star Citizen. It sure is gorgeous however, and my eyes are definitely on it whenever it comes out.

Well I hate to say it guys. As much as I loved this game. I have decided to bail.

It crashed every time I tried to load it up this evening, Im on PS4, and just had nothing but problems when it did run later on.

Sony did give my a full refund, so that was nice. But kind of sad to, at least from the stand point of how troubled this game is. I hope that everything gets fixed and working and this game becomes the amazing game I thought it was going to be. When I could play it was great, but just could not get it to work enough.

Sharing some of the mod suggestions given to me elsewhere:

1) Fast Actions-makes all actions happen when you click instead of holding down the button.
Fast Actions - No Man's Sky Mods

2) SHUTUP-let's you disable any sounds, like the annoying life support etc. messages when they drop below full.
ShutUp - disable certain annoying audio warnings - No Man's Sky Mods

3) Internal Resolution Multipliers-Allows you to downsample the game much like DSR only better.
Internal Resolution Multipliers (PAK) - No Man's Sky Mods

4) Better Waypoints-just makes the waypoints you set easier to see and stand out more.
Better Waypoints - No Man's Sky Mods

5)Hi-Rez Icons-exactly what it says, makes the icons for locations less blurry.
Hi-Res Icons - No Man's Sky Mods

6)21:9 UI fixes-removes the stretching when using an ultrawide display.


7)Blur Filter-removes the filter that makes the game look like it's rendering at a lower resolution.

Overall, mods that make it feel more like a PC title and less like a poor console port.

I'm pretty sure Star Citizen is cpu only but from the live streams I've seen Elite Dangerous looks like a more serious "adult" space combat and trading game than NMS.

They all seem really solid. Fast Action is small, but really helpful. For some stuff I think holding a button makes sense, but for everything? Yeah, not helpful. I feel like Destiny did a pretty good job with this. They didn't attach long presses to everything.

I did the same as you and Tocco. I hope the developer can get this sorted out. Just too many errors for me for a full price game. I wish the rest of you guys the best.

Get in line with me for the ps4 version of Elite Dangerous. Bring a good tent and lots of food because release date isn't known so you will be in line for a while but I suspect it will be worth it when the game is released.

I cannot figure out Elite Dangerous.

Can you walk on planets or does it all take place flying in space?

I'm not seeing the appeal, I guess.

It is another 'polarizing' type game. Mostly trading and combat... they patched in planets, well nothing with vegetation or fauna, just rocky or moon like with no atmosphere that you can currently only land your ship on. But it is a game being built upon over time, so they have plans for future expansions to include 'all the things', especially with Star Citizen trying to do that as well.
