    Of course! Snuck it in subtlety, haha.

        Isn't that pretty much par the course as far as game trailers go? i.e., the trailers always look far superior to actual game.

        Anyway, can't wait for Tuesday. Looks like they've pretty much overhauled everything for this update.

          I wouldn't say that's typically the case aside from editing, in-engine animations to play out a scene that might not be 'in the game'

            Well, that's why I said "once again." Not for all games, but definitely for this game.

            I'll still hold off until Tuesday. I don't think I'll be able to actually play it on Tuesday, but whenever I can I'd like to see just how different this game actually feels, regardless of the clouds.

            I had only been on two planets my first time around anyway. I spent forever on the second planet I was on at the time, just collecting resources and learning languages and whatever. I'm sure they've wiped everything since then though.

              Re: No Man's Sky

              I still end up spawning on undiscovered planets when starting a new game, even on the normal mode (I know the 4 different modes have different "galaxies", more or less). That mode should easily be the most populated out of the four, yet it still happens.

              Given how long this game has been out (and despite its well-known struggles), that's pretty amazing to me.

                  To take that even further, it would take a person 585 billion years to discover every planet.

                  Even if you visited one of those planets every second, and could travel between them instantly, seeing the entire game would take you nearly 585 billion years. (For reference, that’s more than 42 times the age of the known universe.)

                      Just saw a stream (via phone) from the Xbox 1 X version and the clouds look like those from the trailer. Can definitely tell a difference between the earlier streams of a Xbox 1 OG compared to the ones from the newer system. Hope the PS4 Pro comes close.

                        Re: No Man's Sky

                        LOL.....Just teased myself by jumping in from the last time I saved while at a space dock. Pulling up my last save file I noticed the following info;

                        Playtime = 14:09 hours
                        Last save date = 8/22/2016

                        Didn't venture far. Just stayed at the space station. Noticed how the graphics popped and I forgot I'm in a new ship.

                        Looking forward to tomorrow. Hopefully, I'll see some of you in space.

                          So I had this on PS4 but I wanna buy it on the One X, my question is do I have to start at the very beginning just like it was when the game was released or did they add options to start with equipment or stuff like that?

                            The only way to do what you are saying is by basically playing in creative. Or else, yes you have to start from scratch. Hope that helps at all!

                              What were the other options? I believe Survivor was one of them, and maybe Explorer? I forget which I started as.

                                I want to buy this for Xbox, but even though it's probably well worth the $50 with what is all in the game now, for some petty reason it's bothering me that PC and PS4 peeps can get it for like 10 or 20 dollars in some places.

                                Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

                                Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.
